I liked everything! The beauty of the island, private beach, since we were the only tourists on the island, level of hospitality was just extraordinary starting from arranging the flight and arrival, to organizing the snorkeling trips, food and everything that we needed. Customer service is on the highest level. The receptionists along with the owner immediately solve all you extra wishes like e.g supply of the coconuts or boats to another island. The island itself has a lot to improve, but the hotel itself is the best place to stay at Kudahuvadhoo. Hotel is clean, has nice furniture and all what is needed for a stay: a kettle, fridge, air conditioner. At the roof there is a nice recreation area. Tasty breakfast, there are 3 types offered, and we selected Maldivian one (tuna, sort of pancakes, fried egg). All is simple but very reasonable. Good Wi-Fi, we were able to see movies on YouTube. Also free bikes are provided.

A beachfront property, Angsana Velavaru offers 3 restaurants with water villas and private pools on Velavaru Island (Turtle Island). It is a 45-minute Seaplane ride from Malé International Airport.

The resort feels freshly renovated, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. The island itself is quite large, offering many restaurant options, plenty of activities, and a great sense of space and privacy. We came mainly for surfing, and our instructor Kayle was beyond amazing. In just three days, I was confidently standing on the board and riding waves. He is extremely professional, has incredible energy, and creates such a positive atmosphere. You can’t help but feel his genuine love for surfing and the ocean — it truly transforms the whole experience. Surf trips with him were an absolute highlight. Our butler Albina was also exceptional — incredibly sweet, attentive, and always quick to arrange anything we needed. She truly cares about guests and has a natural sensibility for hospitality. You feel understood and well taken care of. Overall, Niyama exceeded our expectations, and we left with only beautiful memories. Can not wait to come back.
