Czech RepublicMy stay was absolutely amazing. The villa has a private beach and breathtaking views of the ocean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The owner is a great person who do his best to make sure guests are comfortable and will help with everything, especially arranging transfers to and from the airport. One of the staff will pick you up at the port and take you to the villa. You can communicate with the owner via WhatsApp or in person as he stops by the villa at least once a day. The facilities of the villa are very good, nice clean rooms, housekeeping with change of towels and beach towels whenever you ask for it. Basically no mosquitoes in my room. Cold drinking water available for free 24/7. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared by fantastic chefs. I highly recommend this accommodation, it felt like home.

Slovakiavery nice accommodation, the island is peaceful, the island is really very nice and the accommodation is in the most beautiful place. the owner of the accommodation is a very nice person and everything in the hotel works great. we also had a reservation for the transfer so we had one less thing to worry about. for breakfast we had great eggs with fruit and in the restaurant we also tried fish tartare and massuni for dinner, the food was great and the restaurant is beautiful.

From end to end, our stay at Anantara Dhigu was smooth, relaxing and beautiful. Firstly, the resort staff is there for you from arrival until the check-in at the airline desk. I didn’t see many other resort providing this level of service to the other tourists lining up at the airport. You are greeted on arrival and the boat trip to the resort is only a little bit over half an hour, making it very convenient after traveling long haul.
We stayed in an over water sunset villa and it was simply stunning. Some have hammock nets over the water and some have pools, both options looked lovely depending on your personal preference/need. The villa is clean and spacious, and is decorated tastefully. It feels very private and the view was beautiful.
We opted for the half board option and that suited us well. We mostly ate at Fushi Cafe with the exception of one lunch at Aqua and one dinner at Baan Huraa but those just didn’t live up to the exceptional food at Fushi Cafe. There was a lot of choice as well as variation from day to day.
The resort itself is very well designed and there is plenty of exploring to do, both on land and in water. As it sits in a lagoon, it also provides for shelter from wind on one side even on the windier days. Our villa for example tended to get a lot of wind but when dining at Fushi Cafe on the other side of the island, it was very peaceful. It is also easy to wade in the water to snorkel island and snorkel in the coral reef there. There is a pontoon constantly operating between Dhigu and Veli making it very easy to go to the other island. Compared to the other resorts I think this location within the lagoon and spanning over several islands makes it so interesting and unique.
There are so many things I could mention but these are what were really memorable and noteworthy, as well as the staff of course who are very polite and attentive. I would definitely visit again.

We loved Hotel Embudu Village Resort Maldives! Location was great, not far from Male Airport, about 25 minutes by private speedboat. At arrival we were looked after by the very capable reception team of the resort, namely by their knowledgably member Mr. Haaid. Two other remarkable members were Mr. Pushpa and Mr. Dennis who were able to inform and guide us when needed throughout our stay. They made Check-in easy, and our room was at the edge of the beautiful ocean. This Island is perfect for snorkeling, the island has lots of coral., you can experience swimming with Nemos’, sharks, turtles and many beautiful fish. In the evening, just standing at the Pier (main entrance village) you can see the fish at nighttime. There is a Diving school on the Island, here you can rent all your snorkeling equipment starting from $10 USD per item per day. There is a restaurant, where we were able to have fresh coconut juice straight from the coconut every day and ate the pulp of it. The staff provided lots of useful information about the Maldives Islands. Housekeeping checked the room daily if we requested and Mr. Ibrahim did a great job. The room was spotless every time. He made sure that we had everything we needed. Breakfast buffet had fresh fruits, smoothies, pastries and many variations, something for everyone (even lactose free). Thanks to the Head Chef we got a carton of Lactose free milk to take back to our room. The dinner in the restaurant was extremely delicious, good taste and you really finished your plate. Mr. Samad was taking care of us. The kitchen staff (Head Chef and his great team) were fantastic! The most impeccable part of our stay was the entire staff's hospitality, which was A1 and made our stay a very memorable happening. We highly recommend this hotel with their most respected teams of operations.

ACCOMODATION
Stayed in water suites: big, clean, very comfortable with tea-coffe facilities, mini-bar (water, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee included into AI plan plus some extra items like chips and alcoholic drinks for additional charge) Two times per day room cleaning and refilling the mini-bar. Very good service.
FOOD The resort has several types of accomodations and three different restaurants + bars assigned to them. Ours was Rehendhi and it was really a very good buffet with lots of delicious options from European, Asian (mostly Indian and Maldivian) and Middle Eastern cuisines. Five nights stay and every day there was something new from burritos to kebabs, from roasted turkey to wellington beef, from seafood wok to different types of curry.
DRINKS
Beer, white and red wine and strong spirits of "non-luxury" brands (and respective cocktails) are included into All Inclusive meal plan (as well as sparkling wine for breakfast in Rehendhi restaurant 🙂) Well-known alcohol brands (Glenfiddich, Grey Goose etc) are at extra charge or Ultra AI package.
BEACH
Water suites are not very suitable for swimming as there is a strong water current and the water is quite shallow (especially during low tide) while the sea bottom is covered with corals (water shoes and swim fins are very useful)
Hotel's beach is very nice with white sand and comfortable access.
Lots of different types of fish, including small reef sharks - we were snorkeling every day without going for any special tour.

The resort is spectacular, well maintained and clean. Beautiful resort mimetized in a natural environment.
I was half board and enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner. The buffet is huge in variety and choices, especially at dinner. They change daily the mains, salads and desserts. Great service! The waiters are all very friendly and dedicated.
In general, all staff members were most helpful, friendly and very polite. Make you feel very comfortable. At my arrival the personel from the hotel were waiting for me at the airport, even though my flight was delayed. They helped with everything!
Zaki the agent responsible of my reservation, was very approachable and professional, he gave me all the information I needed about the resort and services, offered his help to schedule dinners and activities for me, very quick responding to my questions. Sumon was also excellent, he took care of my villa, every day the room was clean and freshen as the first day. He was very respectful with all my belongings, very quick in the service and provided me with adapter for my laptop.
Thank you so much Zaki and Sumon for making my stay so comfortable and taking care of everything.
Definitely recommend this resort to anyine wanting to enjoy Maldives!

Absolutely everything was incredible! The villa was perfect - clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything you could need. The facilities, entertainment and whole resort set up was well planned, ran smoothly and catered to our every need. We really enjoyed the snorkelling opportunity and the spa experience. The food and drinks were varied, delicious and exceeded all expectations.
The whole staff were exceptional and couldn’t have done more to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. When we visited, I was 23 weeks pregnant and every single member of staff went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating, making sure we felt looked after at all times. We were particularly appreciative of the private speedboat transfer to make our journey as smooth as possible. A special mention to Miffy, our Mr Friday, for being absolutely fantastic and making our baby moon so special. We would 100% recommend this resort and hope to make it back one day!

I really liked everything at Bandos!
Food was delicious from a-la-carte. Breakfast was all inclusive and offered everything for everyone, every cuisine was available for various types of guests. Local, continental, sweat etc.
"Beaches" are all around the island, so you can move and choose your perfect place whenever you go. Pool is in the centre with small bar, perfect to run from the sand if you got it too much.
Room was clean everyday, really big, with everything you need. I think this value for money is one of the best in Maldives!
I really like side activities available like, ping pong and billiard.

Thank you for fast and smooth boat transfer, did’t have to wait at Male airport. Also thank you for early check-in so we could enjoy the holiday as soon as possible (this is the thing that is not usually available in hotels).
We got villa 181 with beautiful sand beach and view with sea and palms. Not windy, calm & clear water.
The island has about 15 beaches, explored them all by bicycle or walk. The beaches were really beautiful.
Delicious food at breakfast and Rhabarbaro restaurant for dinner. Especially like breakfast buffet with choice of a la carte menu.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We are really glad that we made this choice of choosing Arena Beach Hotel. We had a really pleasant stay here, and beside the nice room and wonderful excursions, the highlight is the friendly staff who are always eager to help, especially this lady Deepshika at the front desk, who went out her way to help us deal with the changes we had to make. We loved everything about this hotel. Paradise island with white sand and turquoise water. Excellent staff who were professional and dedicated to making our stay perfect. Very convenient location, 45 minutes by speedboat from Male. Clean ocean and well-groomed territory. Friendly staff, our manager TJ was always ready to help and resolve any issues in a short time. I would also like to note the work of the staff at the Sunset restaurant (especially: the waiter Babul, the ice cream man Heron and the fruit man Emran). Varied menus in the restaurant.

We had a wonderful stay at Adaaran Prestige Vado. The environment and the atmosphere helped us to relax. We had a very good stay. The food was excellent. Staff behavior is also excellent, and we would love to visit again.

Maldives is all about its private Islands. Fihalhohi island provides an surreal experience with its views and amenities. The food was top class, the room was very clean. The view all around the island were breathtaking.

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced.
One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement.
The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)!
Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!).
I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive!
Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus.
Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

We booked a family room, and starting from the booking until reaching the Airport to go back home, Aqua Sunset was there for us; just like a family. They prepared all of our meals for us, not to forget to mention the beautiful walkway to the beach was right outside the guest dining area. So we all enjoyed the walk along the coastline, to the bikini beach together, after our meals. The end of the Marina is also right outside the dining area; where they feed the marine life & was also fun to watch with the family, after dinner. We had a super experience, too, with Aqua Sunset’s excursion management team. We booked a half-day family excursion, to swim with the turtles together, and it was so amazing! They even gave us a video of all of us together with the turtles. We all recommend Aqua Sunset because it’s budget/family friendly, the location is perfect, and because everyone made us feel welcomed. Enjoy!

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍
I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach
One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
