Most people, myself included, believe that a 4-5 night stay in Maldives is sufficient. However, there is a place where you wish your vacation could never end. We recently stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, and had an incredible experience. This place offers something for everyone, no matter their age. There was never a dull moment! Whether you're 5 or 95, there's always something happening around every corner. From mini music concerts to theatrical plays, this place has it all.
The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities you could want.
The staff was fantastic, always offering suggestions and making sure we were having a great time. The food was delicious and the options unlimited.
But what really made our trip special was the entertainment provided by Abracadabra Entertainment. The group, comprised of Diogo, Thiago, Tamara and Bruna, put on a series of fantastic performances throughout our stay. They were all excellent dancers and had a special way of engaging with their audience, which really added to the overall atmosphere of the resort. Their costumes were impressive and the kids entertainment activities they put together were so much fun. Most importantly, these four guys, not only they create magic in whatever they do, but they touch people’s souls. They create memories that the guests can carry for years to come.
I would highly recommend the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and Abracadabra Entertainment to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation in the Maldives.

This was my first visit to the Maldives, and I had many questions beforehand, so I frequently asked the hotel staff, who were very helpful and helpful.
Thanks to them, I was able to easily find the Cinnamon staff upon arrival at Male Airport, and they warmly welcomed our family.
The resort is about a 20-minute speedboat ride from the airport.Upon arrival, we met Mira, the manager, at the reception.
Her warmth and hospitality, especially the upgrade to a suite bungalow, made our family's vacation the best we've ever had.
The suite was spacious and beautiful, with a private pool that our kids loved.
The ocean was right in front of the hotel, so we enjoyed swimming freely.
We saw baby sharks near the beach, and a variety of fish could be seen nearby.
The location was also perfect, as it was close to all the amenities, including the restaurant, bar, pool, and gym.
The food was excellent during our stay, and the staff at the Rehendh restaurant, "Nashoo" and "Keshala" were always welcoming and attentive. (I'm not sure if the names are correct.)
Thanks to all the Cinnamon staff, I had the best vacation of my life. I want to thank them.

We checked in on 2nd April and checked out on 6th April. The first 2 nights were in Grand water villa and the following 2 nights were in deluxe sunset water villas with jacuzzi and I must say that the resort made us feel like spending time in paradise.
Everything about the resort was at its best. Starting from the private speed boat transfer, welcome session, gala buffet meals covering exotic cuisines, beautifully maintained islands with sunset bars and infinity pools at the picturesque locations, DJ and live music after dinner hours - everthing keeps me thinking of going back to Sunsiyam ohluveli again for sure. The rooms were more beautiful than the pictures😊, the bathroom, the water villa deck, everything was above our expectations. Truly a great resort.
If you have love for marine life, just spend time in the dive centre area. You can see fascinating colourful fishes in the coral area, pod of dolphins swimming nearby, sting rays, turtles and many more during day time. The best part is at night time when you will surely spot Manta Rays 😊😊.

Absolutely fantastic and flawless! This resort is truly a piece of paradise.
The beaches are breathtaking, with crystal-clear water and soft, white sand. The food was outstanding, offering a great variety of delicious options every day. And the service? Simply top-notch—every staff member was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.
We didn’t remember all the names, but honestly, every single person was amazing—always cheerful, helpful, and making sure everything was perfect. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Not only did they fulfill our request regarding the accommodation, but they even surprised us with an upgrade!
One of the small details that made our stay even more magical was the ice cream man on a bicycle, who went around the island twice a day, bringing joy to guests with his fantastic ice cream.
We will definitely be coming back!

Embudhu is everything if you just need the sea, a wonderful marine life with all the turtles, rays, mantas, fish, corals and aditionally island-animals like birds, crabs, Flying Foxes... If you are not looking for action, TV, fun-activities, noise, music, but only need silence and relaxing times. It will be just you, the island, the sea, the animals. And no shoes during your stay. This is what we wanted and we got it perfectly.
Moreover the restaurant and the food are great, the staff is more than helpful and always friendly. What else is needed for a perfect stay?

Where do I start ? I have been to several One & Only resorts and can honestly say that the Reethi Rah is by far the best of them , every aspect of the property was superb. The resort is fantastic, the staff is extraordinary friendly and they did everything so we could be able to have an incredible stay in paradise. We swam with wild dolphins, which was a "once-in-a-lifetime-experience". Our Over-Water-Villa was super nice, we had Eagle Rays and a little reef shark swimming right below it.

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced.
One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement.
The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)!
Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!).
I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive!
Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus.
Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

There are a number of Hotels with restaurants with menu options slightly different from Ayala ... all within walking distance. The beach (Bikini beach) is beautiful, ALWAYS clean and even when the wind is blowing strongly from the Western side there is hardly any wind on the beach

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍
I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach
One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
