- From US$438.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,408 reviewsParadise Island Resort- is indeed a PARADISE. 10/10. You cannot disagree with that. Having spent 6 days & 5 Nights here, I must say, I was highly astonished by the service & hospitality. MALDIVES isn’t just good beaches, coral reefs and water activities, it’s more than that. You truly experience magnificent HOSPITALITY. I have stayed and travelled around the middle east, Turkey, and Australia and I must say that Maldivian hospitality was well ahead of what I have experienced around the world. I want to especially thank the following people who made our stay magnificent. Firstly, the most important guy-Island Host-Mr Zaki. Zaki went above & beyond with his service. For us coming up with a multicultural background (Australia-Pakistan), Zaki ensured that our stay on the island was as good as our home. Zaki was in continuous contact with me and would ensure that we are always having a good time. Zaki would send reminders about check in-check out time and everything. Let’s not forget, Zaki offered me some traditional (homeland) sweets/mouth freshener from his pocket which brought me back a lot of memories of my childhood. Having a TULSI in the Maldives was just WOW for me. I think Zaki deserves a promotion!!!! 💯♥️ Reena-Front Counter & Reception: Helped me with my regular queries and laundry schedule. Samjhana-Bageecha Restaurant: Her welcoming smile at meal times, made the food time even more enjoyable. Mohammed-Hulhangu Bar: What a generous guy with down to earth personality. Told me his story about his recent injury and left an impression on me for hard-work Shrijana-Hulhangu Bar: We participated in the Crab Race, and it was so good to see that even the staff was cheering for our Crab to win. Shrijana recommended good drinks, highly satisfied with the service. Recca-Al Tramonto Bar & Restaurant : We had our last evening meal here, and loved the hospitality and food. Recca was good with presentation & communication.Guest review byKhowajaPakistan
- From US$182.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,589 reviewsWe were fetched by their staff from the jetty port, our luggage was loaded in a small vehicle to be dropped in the hotel which was only a short walk from the port. Ms. Hazel was very welcoming and friendly and would give us some tips on how to go about the island while on our way to the hotel. Upon checking in, we were given welcome drinks and wet towels to freshen up a bit while waiting for our rooms. Ms. Metri, the receptionist was kind and polite, very grateful for her to accommodate our requests and assigned us to our rooms with the best views. There was a basket of fresh fruits in our rooms, Comfy beds, and toiletries were already set in our rooms, wifi was fast, clean facilities, pool was also there (could've been with warm water as it was already windy on the 10th floor that time and it was too cold), hotel was on the beach front, very good location with a lot of shops/restaurants nearby. Mark in the beach bar was very informative and warm, even offered us a walk around. Breakfast was by the beach, we weren't able to fully dig in as we had to head on to our 7:30 am island tour. Wish we could've stayed longer to make the most of our rooms too.Guest review byVon RoeUnited Arab Emirates
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 231 reviewsAdaaran Club Rannalhi is a perfect destination for relaxation & heavenly stay for couples in Maldives. This resort is designed in such a way that every one can get comfort and entertainment. Their staffs are so cordial (reception, restaurant, bar everywhere). Throughout our stay, every interaction with the staff was a delight. I must mention the name of Mr ARUNA, who helped us during check-in and provided sufficient information about the island. The food was awesome, sitting arrangement in main bar was beautiful - one can enjoy the view of sea while drinking their favourite beverages and delicious food. They have a beach volleyball court too which is enjoyable. From the Water Bunglow, the sunset view was astonishing. This was one of the place from where i didn't want to leave. At the end, a beautiful gesture shown by Mr ARUNA and hotel staffs by waiving a Flag stating "Good Bye, See you Again", when we were leaving from the island. Highly recommended to get the experience of this island once in lifetime.Guest review byChandankr7Malaysia
- From US$573.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 73 reviewsWe had a great time at this wonderful resort. It is only some 45 mins by boat from Male. The staff are extremely kind and courteous. The team responsible for sea excursions is very informative and helpful. The restaurant provides a great variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were booked at half board and there were plenty of options to have a snack during the day at very reasonable prices. The room had all the needed amenities and was cleaned twice a day. Each room had its allocated sun beds in an idyllic environment. It takes around 15/20 minutes to walk around the island to see nature at its best. The sea immediately around this island is already beautiful to swim in and snorkel. The excursions to nearby reefs add to the experience of seeing turtles, mantas, harmless nurse sharks and all kinds of colourful fish (some of which can be seen in the vicinity of the hotel) . The island is very welcoming, well kept and very clean. A place to revisit time and time again.Guest review byAlfredMalta

Top notch. We stayed at kaani Beach hotel 103.108.109 from 15 to 18th. What a service. Start with the Mr Tiger, from male, incharge of the hotel. But he was everywhere from the receiving of the guest till we get dropped to the boat he was absolutely on every service we needed. God bless you my friend. The receptionist Suman from Nepal, absolutely amazing lady helped us through all the process to the booking and all the things we needed. Restaurent stuff, Aditya from nepal what an amazing personality and hospitality. Along with his team jowel, rony, anisur from Bangladesh. Provided us with the best private beach dinning experience we have ever experienced. The island tour guides' boat mans were amazing through out the trips. Thanks kaani team. One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.Guest review byÁkosHungary - 10.0

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.Guest review byNigelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!Guest review byInaNorway - 10.0
We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!Guest review byClannyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!Guest review byLaurenL97United Kingdom - 8.0

It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.Guest review byVladimirSerbia - 10.0

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !Guest review byDarinaSlovakia - 2.0

We only had 4 days and picked Huraa because it is close to the airport. A very bad choice. The island is absolutely not nice, full of trash, nothing is taken care of, even the bikini beach was a huge disappointment, dirty, broken sunbeds, only 6 umbrellas. No cafes, restaurants anywhere. The only nice place on the entire island is the Pearl Sands. It is a hotel, but you can pay a daypass to use their beautiful private beach including a very a good lunch. That place saved our vacation.Guest review byanitaGermany - 10.0

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍 I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe, loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.Guest review byJayneMaldives
