IndonesiaA big thanks to Paul and lovely staff : Dia, Marini, Kris during our stay at Stone Hotel. It was unforgettable experience and we enjoyed a lot. We booked all inclusive for 7 nights includes 3 meals and the food is beyond our expectations, also thanks to Chef Alagiyawanna and the team to surprise the guest with their creativity.
The room is super clean with stunning view from 6th floor where we can see stingrays and baby reef shark clearly from the balcony.
We booked also the trip with MahiMahi, the guides are so kind and we felt safe with them. The boat is also clean and comfortable. We were so lucky to see dolphins, nurse shark, turtle and beautiful fishes and coral.
Definitely we recommend to everyone who visit Dhiffushi Island to stay at Stone Hotel and book the trip at Mahi Mahi.
Thanks again for treating us like a king and queen :)

RussiaNew hotel with very well thought-through design, truly friendly staff and good location. Beach is less than 10 steps away from the main entrance. Sea has big shallow area with sand as well as area with enough depth to swim comfortably. Breakfasts were very good. Hotel is a tall building so sea-view from room is fantastic. There’s a bar at the top of the hotel where you can observe entire island from, including sunset.
Special complements to the hotel’s manager who was very attentive, chef and his team for easily handling special dietary requirements. Rooms cleaning was great. I wish the team continued success maintaining such a high benchmark set at opening.

However, we requested an earlier check-in, and they kindly prepared our room by 10:30 AM. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures. The entire staff was very friendly and professional.

ChinaThe service here is amazing! We could ask the staff to take us anywhere on the island, and they were happy to help. On our last night, they gave us a special treat and gifts—they even took us crab catching and cooked the crabs for us, and the taste was incredible!
The snorkeling spot has tons of corals too. This place is perfect for family trips. Also, Ali helped us so much—we got great service with every activity on the island. We’ll definitely come back next time!

This is really a paradise vacation with beautiful nature and beaches. For us as a family with a small kid, this was a great relax. Food is excellent, your villa is cleaned every day and staff is really nice. We'd never think to return to the same place when you have so much choice but we already came for the second time.
We'd specifically like to thank to our waiter Ismail and also Hasan who often stopped by to say "Hi". They both made us feel so good and went above and beyond especially for our 2-year-old daughter.
I guess it's also a good idea to separate some areas on the island in a way that some bars are not available for kids and some are. For families it's a higher chance to meet at the same place and for those who'd like to relax from kids or have fun, they can enjoy that.
Prices for alcohol and cocktails are also very reasonable for a resort, below $10 for beer/wine/shots etc and just above $10 for cocktails.
There are many activities we didn't have a chance to explore such as play room, golf, football, snorkelling, trips etc, so I believe people shouldn't be bored if they don't want to :)
What we also liked 2 practical aspects:
- Meeru is one of a very few places where we were able to cancel the booking almost until the flight departure which was something we really appreciated and one of the reasons why we chose this place
- the distance from Male by speedboat is less than 1 hour - it's great that you're not too close to Male where you can often smell some unpleasant air and yet you're not too far, so the journey isn't tiring

This place is absolutely amazing! After a short boat ride from Male airport, you arrive in what feels like paradise. We stayed in a beachfront villa with a private pool. The villa was perfect—just steps from the beach, with stunning ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves. The island itself is encircled by pristine beaches with soft, white sand and crystal-clear waters that are simply breathtaking. The food here is exceptional, offering a variety of flavors that cater to every palate. And the staff? They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and at home. Their warmth and attentiveness truly elevate the experience, making this island getaway unforgettable. I don’t usually write reviews, but after staying at this resort, I just can’t help myself. We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to tell all our friends and family about this incredible place. Thank you to the entire resort team for an unforgettable stay!

The time of the year was perfect for us. the weather was great and the hotel was very quite we a low number of guests. The resort has a perfect location just 20 min from the international airport. it’s a small and very cozy resort with amazing staff and the all service was perfect. The food is very good but be prepared for expensive food and drinks in the Maldives. The house reef is amazing for diving and the diving crew, specially Ali, our buddy diver, was a perfect instructor. Tholley, our personal assistant, always there to help us. The Baros Maldives was a perfect place for our honeymoon and we want to come back with our kids as son as all are old enough (above 8y only).

Great service from start to finish. Food choices were diversified and all fantastic but the standout restaurant was the Japanese. Everything about this resort was just done exceptionally well. Tons of facilities like bikes to ride around the island, basketball and tennis court etc.

There are plenty of water activities and options to choose from. The people are very friendly, and I felt extremely safe throughout my stay. The only downside is that evenings are very quiet, with limited nightlife or entertainment.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement.
The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)!
Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!).
I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive!
Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus.
Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

Gulhi exuded a lot of the island vibes when we compared to our stay in Male and Ulkuhas. It didn't have too much construction ongoing so it wasn't that noisy with minimal debris going around. The beaches are really nice to walk around and lie around too. Snorkelling here is fun too since the shallow parts extend quite a distance before it goes into the coral reef cliff. Excursions here are nice as well since you get to experience snorkelling with nurse sharks, stingrays, and manta rays. Mantas of course are by luck where was the former are usually attracted via feeding. Food-wise, Dolce Vita is a mut-go since the chef is really good (would suggest local dishes, naan+butter chicken, noodles,), price is reasonable, ambience is perfect, and they do not charge any additional fee at all for card payments!

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍
I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach
One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
