United KingdomWe cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Everything was perfect, lovely clean room, very spacious and well equipped. Great breakfast and appreciated tea and coffee always being available. Collected from the harbour and helped us arrange our ferry transfers from the airport, making our journey seamless. Booked 2 excursions with the hotel (manta rays and whale shark snorkelling) both included lunch, and additions we weren’t expecting! Extra reef snorkelling and stopping at another island.
Special thank you to Waruna (maybe incorrectly spelt!) who was always around at meals and such a positive person. We really enjoyed chatting to him about our recent trip to Sri Lanka.
Also thank you to Anoof and Adheel (again may be spelt incorrectly!) who organised and were on our excursions, really appreciated your expertise and taking care of us, especially when one of us couldn’t find the boat! It really made our trip special.
Thank you to Siyam, the hotel truely is a gem and we’d recommend it to everyone.

The room has been decorated in good style and the hotel property in general is a beautiful place to be, be it on the rooftop or by the restaurants. It’s a mere 45 mins by speedboat from Male airport, but you can also take public ferry as it’s much cheaper and worth it for the experience. I would come again and recommend it to others, the property was a highlight of our trip to the Maldives.

TurkeyImran is an amazing manager! He manages the place like his own and very attentive to every need. Staff was cheerful and attentive all the time as well. To be honest our stay was beyond our expectations 10/10 and if I could give more than 10 I would! A couple of things that the staff did was very heartwarming. Even-though I didn't mention that we came for holidays in Maldives for my mums birthday they've checked the dates and noticed it and prepared a special surprise for us! It was very unexpected and made us feel cozy and happy! The second thing that amazed me is my SD card for the underwater camera didn't work and Imran managed to bring a new one from Male! He organized all our outdoor trips/excursions etc. In short we will be back when we have time for sure. Thanks for everything!!! Darya and Anna

Where to start. It has been an unbelievable experience. The real added value of this resort is the STAFF. EVERYONE are so special, smiling, welcoming that you feel at home from day 1.
We have been hosted by Pratima who gave us a warm welcome and supported us through the entire stay. We cannot thank you enough for your support.
Talking about the restaurant, the food is amazing, international and you have lots of variety food. Even in the restaurant, the team is making the difference. Robik, chef Padma, Nargis and everyone from the first to last one made our stay incredible. They are very hard workers, always smiling always ready to help you to find the best table, always there to give you the best customer service. It was so special every day for us with the team.
Coming to the beach side, what to say. I just want to give a big THANK YOU to Shamim ( MIMO) and Dulal, 2 amazing person who will support you with towels, bed sun and always there to make you lough and smiling because they are both amazing. They always find a solution for you, they are always positive, supportive. It’s difficult to explain how we felt. You should just try seriously.
Big mention to the animation team who was amazing from Karaoke to Fireshow to disco night and all the team that works in that locations. All the waiters were super nice ( there was an Egyptian guy who I don’t remember the name who was very friendly and welcoming with me).
I would like to mention also people from the main bar, thank you for all your chocolate ice creams 😆.
I want to mention also every single person who collect us and drop us off with buddy car, every single person who came to clean our room, every person who was in the lobby to support us with every enquiry. Everyone from the gym and from sport facilities.
GUYS, YOU ARE AMAZING AND I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR WHAT YOU DID DURING OUR STAY. VILLA PARK IS IN OUR HEART NOW. THANK TO YOU ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It was a perfect family vacation thanks to the lovely staff, services, facilities and the island.
We appreciated the kindness the Ayada staff showed especially towards our little child. Always gentle and helpful with a smile in their face and no matter if butler, waiter, director, kitchen chef, masseur, transportation staff.
The service was always impeccable with regards to our necessities: getting organized a microwave to heat up our child's food, getting food to our room, cleaning up the room, getting some dessert to our room. Our Butler Zak was available 24/7 and very helpful for everything we needed. We even received an upgrade for our stay with a swimming pool and direct access to the beach. When asking why, they said: "Because we love you!"
Food quality and variety was good as well as the SPA massage we received. The offering of sport variety was amazing from football to volleyball to tennis and kayak.
We especially enjoyed our daily bike tours on the island and the infinite swimming pool with beach view at Zero Degree.
The island and its nature had a lot to offer: wonderfull beach, crystal water, baby sharks, crabs, bats.
An unforgettable experience we will always keep it in our heart and will regress one day for sure.

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced.
One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

The people that work there in the island are very genuine...
The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.
