The access to the lagoon is perfect as it's towards the end of the lagoon, quite close to the Cocalitos cenote but not on the Cenote so the water is clear and shallow.
Free kayak that's amazing, you can cross to the Birds Isle.
Breakfast is correct for such a small hotel.
Hotel with only a few rooms so it's not crowded and atmosphere is super relax.
Lovely reception staff, friendly, smiling.
Cocktails are nice and affordable. I had passion fruit margarita.
Food is nice and affordable. We tried camarones it was delicious.

We loved that there was a stove, oven, microwave, fridge and coffee machine in the communal area. It felt a bit like a hostel, except that the crowd was very mixed in age and also included families.
We stayed in Mexico for four weeks and this was our favourite place.

The place is beautiful with a great variety of places for family members to swim and play. We were varied age groups and there was something for all. Loved the river beach at the resort particularly. The service was exceptional. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful everywhere we went. We loved the food. Lots of options at the buffet. The Brazilian steakhouse was so much fun and delicious food. Trajinero was also excellent -- especially with Franky, our wonderful server who made the evening special. Best of all was the fusion restaurant. Sushi heaven! Thank you to Eleanor! The little ones also enjoyed the Teppanyaki dinner with the knife juggling and fire displays. Guest services was very helpful setting up all of our reservations in the weeks before our trip.
My son surprised the ladies with spa treatments Mulak and the massage was one of the best I've had. I wish I caught the name of the woman who did the treatment (Patrice??). She was excellent and the ambience of the place really adds to the experience.
We also enjoyed the parks and went to the three close ones - Xcaret, Xenses, and Xplor and had fun at all. The included shuttles came more frequently than the 20 minutes advertised -- a welcome surprise.
It was a pleasure to have everything included -- transportation from the minute you land until the last trip to the airport, food and lockers at most parks.

It was an unforgettable experience! It was out of this world. We truly felt like it was an experience for our senses. One thing I can say is that the photos don’t do it justice. I tried to capture it but it’s not possible! You are immersed in another world and there’s so much to explore. You will feel truly relaxed. So many little nooks & crannies. Big kudos to the artists that created this space and the architect of course. And finally a big thank you to the staff who make the stay so enjoyable. Our biggest thanks is to Luis Poot who works as a waiter in the breakfast area Alixa - he’s a fantastic person and we enjoyed meeting him very much!!

I had booked a room and was looking for something closer to the beach was offered the help since before I got there by Kelly she was exceptionally awesome and the bus boy Kevin was amazing he made our stay even ever we didn't want to leave!Everyone was so nice with kindly manners and kept the place looking nice and sharp.Will be back soon and we will recommend this place to anyone traveling to Cancun!!

Kystal Cancun is one of my favorite places to stay, because it has one of the prettiest beaches, and it is also right downtown, so you have easy walking access to many restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
Another reason I like coming here, because all-inclusive is optional. I travel alone, don't drink alcohol so it's more cost effective for me to eat in local restaurants.

The hotel has many pools and one with a bar in it, the view from there is just amazing!!
The hotel has several different restaurants, our favorite was the American one. The buffet is also great! Many options, fresh and delicious.

Location, staff (Andres took full ownership and went above and beyond) and stunning views. It’s located at the start of the hotel zone so very easy to get a cab to Downtown and hotel strip. The Food and drinks were complimented with stunning beach views.

We were upgraded to a junior suite with swim up pool--astounding upgrade. We dined on the beach, and watched the hatching of sea turtles and their scamper to the sea. This was a wonderful surprise too.

Cancun is amazing!
Cancun is amazing! I went there for my wedding and although I was busy with last-minute planning and wedding-related arrangements, I still had a great experience. I didn’t get much time to explore outside the resort, so I would definitely love to return and truly enjoy everything Cancun has to offer.
I really liked the surroundings, and Coco Bongo was an unforgettable experience — absolutely a must-visit. I also felt safe using Uber throughout my stay, and the people were friendly and welcoming, which made the trip even better.

Lots of stalls selling tours. Though beach free to access north of the ferry terminal. There is only a narrow strip of sand in many areas due to beach resort hotels roping it off. Lots of restaurants, in the evening a few bars are so loud it makes the area unpleasant ( unless you like noise).
Beaches are cleared of seaweed every morning
Head south to Tulum or North to Poerto Morelos for better experience

I love Tulum and its people.
I love Tulum and its people. Staying in the Centro and walking around, exploring, meeting locals, eating all the delicious food options! A perfect mix of beach, city and jungle vibes. I find it to be a fun destination with kids. There's alot to do and visit and the transport to various interesting site is easy.

though we were at the seasonal end of the Rainy season the...
though we were at the seasonal end of the Rainy season the roads did flood. The Hotel is far from the city center and are not walkable during certain times. taxi four wheelers at 200 pesos on way. Mangroves and rain make for flooded passages. We rented a bikes to get around however the puddles were too deep to get through. You do need GPS many options of getting to and from the hotel in Coco beach area.
taking the weather in stride we enjoyed our 5 night stay in Holbox. There were great sunny periods and walked the beaches, sat under palapas, swam, and walked the sand bars at low tide, Coco beach and Mosquito. This place is what Tulum must have been 30 years ago. There is plenty of development/construction here and if you want to beat the commercialism it is time to go now, Luv it woud go back in a flash. I will go back. We found the best vegan vegetarian place Artes Sona a must.

While the people are friendly and the number of good restaurants has increased over that time, unfortunately the reef has been degraded effecting the diving experience. Its is my contention the powers that control Cozumel care more about making money from cruise ships than the environment, local people or infrastructure of Cozumel.

It is a beautiful island and we stayed in the south of the island in a beautiful small mexican Hotel La Joya which was just perfect. Very quiet in the evenings but if you have a buggy you could go further afield in the evening. . If you like busy, overpriced hectic beaches then Punta Norte would be better for you. We hired a golf buggy and it was very easy to drive around the island. I liked the old Mayan ruins which was only a 20minutes walk from the hotel along the cliff top for sunrise, stunning easy walk. We ate nearby at the Art Gallery and Taco restaurant both had lovely food but the Art Gallery was really lovely. I am not a Taco fan but had to try them!

Puerto Morelos is a laid-back little beach town away from the busy-ness of Cancun, and easy to access. A friendly vibe and lots of inviting restaurants (check out Peninsula and King Taco!) and a handy supermarket. A perfect springboard for our trip inland into the Yucatan.

My FAVORITE cenotes were at Sac Actun and Ecopark Kantun Chi. Sac Actun requires a guide, but it's not as expensive as some of the other places. The cenote is beautiful and they provide you with wetsuits (which helps a LOT with the cold) and goggles. It was a very cool experience. Ecopark Kantun Chi has 5 cenotes but we bought the entrance that allows you to go 4 of them without a guide. For us, this was perfect because we could spend as much time as we wanted at each spot and they were all so different and beautiful. I loved #3, which was an open sky cenote with a waterfall and #4, which was a really cool cave with spots where the sunlight streamed in from above. We got to see some lobsters there too. Also a very cool feature is that there are kayaks in several of the cenotes so you get to explore them that way as well. Another cool spot was Languna Yal Ku where we got to snorkel in calm water and see so many different types of fish. I highly recommend wearing clothing that covers your arms and legs since sunscreen isn't permitted and you are directly exposed to the sun the whole time. For meals, we enjoyed traveling to both Akumal Pueblo (for some simple and cheaper meals) and Akumal Playa on the other side of the road for some more variety.
