The location is perfect being less that 5 minute grab to the beach or a 10 minute walk. The hotel itself is clean and has been recently renovated. The rooms were lovely and the staff were unbelievable. They provide a welcome drink once you check in and my girlfriend mentioned how she liked it. When we were checking out, the kind bar man had made us a whole bottle for us take away with us! Fabulous generosity. The pool is wonderful and I like the fact there is an open field behind, makes you feel like you’re in nature. Let’s not even talk about the fact it’s 20 Ringgit for three beers! The price is great for what you get and we will definitely be back if we ever visit Langkawi again.

Recently built bungalow garden complex just off the main hustle and bustle of Pantai Cenang. The access road is a 100m gravel road, which then leads to the hotel and café. It's a wooden bungalow, so it's not hermetically sealed from the outside ;). Would stay there again.

This was the best hotel we ever stayed at. The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by rainforest, and has a lovely private beach. The water is always warm. The gardens are very well taken care of and the decoration of all the inside spaces is just perfect. There are many wild animals around the gardens (monkeys, lizards, etc), but the room is extremely clean and we never had any intruders. Our room was beautiful, larger than it seems in the photos. The restaurants are a bit expensive compared to the ones outside the hotel, but the price is justified by the excellent quality of the food and the attentive waiters. We felt that in this hotel, the guests are truly taken care of and all the staff makes an effort to provide you the best experience, with small surprises in the room everyday, for example. We also did a rainforest tour organized by the hotel that we enjoyed a lot, and the guide was very knowledgeable.

The hotel is located in the middle of the jungle, not far from a wide secluded bay. We lived in the rainy forest villa. All the buildings are wonderfully integrated into the surrounding nature. For convenience, you can be taken around the territory on a buggy, we preferred to walk along beautiful winding trails, looking at local animals. There were also various birds, monitor lizards and various monkeys, geckos. The weather at the end of November was pleasant, short showers usually took place in the afternoon or late afternoon, it was pleasantly warm. The wide long beach is perfect for leisurely walks. As an activity, you can take a board, kayak or a small sailboat. The beach is well maintained, people are dispersed so that no one bothers anyone. The water was warm and practically wave-free. The staff is attentive and kind. We ate at home, it was convenient, the staff served the table as if we were in a restaurant. We really liked the privacy of this place, and our recommendations are for everyone who loves nature.

I liked everything about this hotel. The room (lake view room) was spacious and clean and had a nice terrace to enjoy coffee. The breakfast was offered in 2 restaurants from 7.30 am and was really delicious with wide variety. The staff was really helpful, attentive and friendly. The hotel is located in the beginning of the main street where you can find many restaurants and shops (e.g. Cenang mall is 10 min walking distance from hotel). They even provide beach/pool towels from 8 am. Highly recommended stay!

Fantastic view from the room, breakfast spread is not huge but everyday it is different, which honestly I prefer. There are also some mindblowingly good items in the menu. The room I booked was a suite for a really good price, it was extremely comfortable, and the wifi signal was strong. I also loved the fact that there is refillable water machine which makes life so convenient. Service was excellent as well.

A great central hub and a slice of paradise, which seems somewhat un discovered by the rest of the world, yet everything you want or need is perfectly catered for. I recommend checking out the local market, with plenty of food stalls, restaurants and seating areas to make an evening of it. Stroll along the Main Street or along the beach to soak up the atmosphere.

Kuah is peaceful and away from main beaches. If you like peace, this is the place but if you are coming with party mood finding something near to Cenang beach. Famous places are Maha Tower and Eagle Square. Most of the famous beaches like Cenang, Tanjung Rhu etc are 25-35 min of drive away from this place though finding cabs is not a big issue if you install Grab app in mobile.

Beautiful, clean, not much traffic jam even though during holiday season, beautiful landscaping around waterfront of Sungai Raja, Dataran Alor Setar which is so happening at night and nice scenery during day time, beautiful historical building and great history for you to explore. Masjid Zahir is a must visit spot. Don't forget to visit Paddy Museum and Kota Kuala Kedah too.

It is a small peaceful town with lots of shops you find in big cities. The food is cheap. The Pasar Tani was interesting. It is situated behind Restoran Berkat. This restaurant consists of a few stalls serving local delicacies. A must come for people not familiar with the local food. There is a more modern township called Amanjaya for the younger ones. But I prefer the area around the famous Clock Tower.

Langkawi and the people of langkawi as a whole are just beautiful. The scenery is mesmerising and so much to do. Cenang was a pleasure to visit and felt that everything was close by via my rental car.

There are many places to eat and enjoy the local food. Kulim is a small place so it was easy to get around by car. We went to a special restaurant serving western food called Akar Lima for dinner and found the food pretty good.

Small town, not suitable for shoppers.

Small town, not suitable for shoppers. Recommended for those who enjoying eating. Recommended place is Dusun Riffa which can spend time from 9 am - 7 pm with good scenery, clean place and very good food. Also recommended KinKin Restaurant which is cheap but tasty. A few more good foods but can find other places as well. Bundle shops - there are a lot of good stuff to shop with good quality.

No negatives at all. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice of restaurants with excellent food. Our room was large and very comfortable with big terrace and lovely views over the gardens. Beach was stunning and incredibly quiet.

Its just a great vacation here.. the staff is so friendly and the place was just too great.. i wish they have a lift so that customer can bring up their stuff easily.. overall very satisfied and if have a chance will come again to this beautiful place..

Location was perfect for us, not too close to the main...

Location was perfect for us, not too close to the main streets but not difficult to get to at all. Our host was so helpful and the traditional breakfast is a must. Accommodation is excellent and the views are fantastic.
