Could easily spend hours enjoying the stunning view from the room and grounds. Everyone friendly and helpful, the manageress was lovely, coming to speak with us at meals. Sundowner Boat trip fabulous, great guide. To have the amazing Mahangu Core Reserve only 15 minutes away was excellent, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo and so much more. The food was delicious, catering for our vegetarian diet. For birders the views of Rock Pratincoles just incredible, I saw over 150 species of bird in a day in this area. Would love to return again.Guest review byMartinUnited Kingdom

It was in the most amazing spot for watching hippos and had beautiful as well as functional decor. There has clearly been real care taken to make these rooms stylish and practical, with an absolute appreciation nature worked in. We spent almost every moment of our stay watching the hippos from our balcony and we’re already dreaming of going back. The food provided was also exceptional. Thank you Ndhovu Lodge, we can’t wait to visit again!Guest review byTashiAustralia
- From US$352.18 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 101 reviewsAn excellent hotel with polite and helpful staff. Especially I want to mention Rector who was an excellent driver. We had three game drives with him and were the best we had so far. We saw wild dogs in action which is rare, a leopard etc. I want to thank him for everything. The room was big and very clean as was all the premises of the hotel. Both breakfast and dinner very fresh, good and tasty. There was parking in the premises. The swimming pool was very good.Guest review byEVANTHIAGreece

Kongola itself is quite small.
Kongola itself is quite small. However, river cruises are on offer, with fantastic animal and bird sightings, as well as magnificent sunsets on the Kwando river. Another advantage is the Mudumu National Park, with an abundance of wildlife and birds,Guest review byLouiseAustralia - 10.0
Magnificent place. Lot of things to see in town.
Magnificent place. Lot of things to see in town. People are very friendly and helpful. Wish to visit again but you need your own car to move around. For westerners everything is available but still one sees real Africa.Guest review byJari KuuluvainenFinland
