Good re-imagination of the old Fort. Big trees in the yard. Great view from the tower. Good food. Friendly people. Ernest is the perfect guide for a drive into the Hoanib river bed and visiting the desert elephants. We did this in our own car.

Palmwag Campsite offers camping facilities near Palmwag. Campers have access to the main lodge’s restaurant, bar, swimming pool and activities.

The common spaces are very beautiful. The pool and surrounding gardens are beautiful. The camping site has a private bathroom that looks like a hotel room. Covered area with table and benches, and a sink. Nice view from out camp spot #14.

The view, the lodge and the great staff! The pool location and the covered deck. The breakfast and the dinner as well as the sundowner ride on the plateau of Grootberg ! I will be back! The up/down ride with the driver ;).

Loved this lodge!!! We loved the serenity, the beautiful location, the bonus elephants grazing just across from the open-air bar - and best of all, the elephant that came strolling into the camp much to the delight of all the guests
