I don’t know where to start it was just amazing beeing welcomed to this place. Our room was beyond beautiful with an outdoor bed (they‘ll arrange sheets and everything if you tell the reception) a second terrace with sunloungers, outdoorshower and another balcony right in front of your bed. Interior is very spacious with gorgeous big windows, a big comfortable bed, lounge area with the most amazing view and a very big bathroom. Minibar and coffeestation are filled up so you can enjoy a drink right when you arrive. We had Zebras right in front of the lodge when we arrived. For sundowner you can choose to visit the upper deck (up a small hill), they‘ll arrange the drink you told them in advance and also very good tapas. Thanks a lot to Willie and the second waiter for arranging our drinks last minute and for racing up the hill with them and our tapas. :) After that head right to dinner, honestly the best dinner we had during our whole holiday. The steak was amazing, the starter and the amuse guele, the soup and the dessert. Lastly the whole staff really cares and seems to really enjoy beeing there and working together you can really feel the team spirit. Its about 40min drive to Sesriem Gate (they provide early breakfast with you want to leave before sunrise) for us that was totally fine. We arrived at the gate for sunrise and at Sossusvlei in time to walk up Big Daddy before the heat. Scenery and light is amazing at this time of the day. After running down the hill to Deadvlei we drove back to the Lodge to enjoy a beautiful afternoon and evening. Only downside that we just stayed 2 nights and couldn’t enjoy a whole day at the lodge. We‘ll come back, thanks again.

After a stay in the neighbouring camp, we knew Desert Camp would be a hit. Is has beautiful cottages, with plenty of storage space behind the bed/in the bathroom. The shower is great and my kids loved the pool. But what sets apart this accommodation is the possibility to have breakfast and dinner at the Sossusvlei lodge, which is always good and definitely a highlight. The location is wonderful as well of course, you are right next to the Sossusvlei park.

The rooms are very well conceived with all the conditions for full comfort. Close to the park entrance, it is an excellent option to visit the dunes and Deadvlei. Breakfaat and dinner served at Sossusvlei Lodge (short distance by car) with great choices as buffet. Game meat from local species also available in the barbecue.

We really enjoyed staying here. The lodge is very isolated, which means silence and skies full of stars. The owner is very friendly and the staff too. The common rooms are very cozy. Very good food. Nice hiking trails in the surroundings.

Location is very good, sfaff is helpfull at any time, food is tasty in the breakfasts and dinners. The best is guide and the driver of our desert trip Natalguama, thanks for your work!!!!! 🥰

Beautiful spot (in the middle of nowhere), good food, nice spacious rooms/cottages. The staff is very friendly and helpful, special thanks to the sweet management team. You are amazing.

The comfortable room, beds, bathroom in a spacious setting. A most lovely courtyard with pool and little chapel. The nearby restaurant offering delicious dinner & breakfast.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place to spend a couple of days. We made good use of the pool on two rather hot days. Thomas was particularly kind and helpful.

Very lovely staff and beautiful hotel. The food was very good and we wish we had had more time to enjoy the beautiful infinity pool.
