This place exceeded my expectations. It’s a boutique hotel but very modern and the room I was given was very cozy and nice. Staff was friendly tho the manager Farida had an attitude the first day but she redeemed herself the next day. Staff was prompt in responding to requests and very courteous. Located in the heart of Victoria island, it was very easy to get uber and bolt. The security guards were awesome and very kind too (thank you for assisting me to wash my car). Would definitely come back and I highly recommend. Kitchen staff may need more training. The two people I encountered were rude. Overall great Stay.

Lagos is a vibrant city with numerous activities.

Lagos is a vibrant city with numerous activities. The one-week trip was too short for me to explore the island as much as I would have liked to. Anyone intending to visit Lagos should do so with an open mindset and explore. A variety of great fun is available from typical Nigerian cuisine, the beach, and the nightlife.

This unit looks like a place abandoned for Months.

This unit looks like a place abandoned for Months. The kitchen looks so dirty with broken handle cups and plate. The cooking utensils was completely zero with old spoons and other kitchen utensils scattered inside a broken kitchen drawer where roaches are having field day. The thrash can with no cover and thrash bag, brooms and Parker’s completely broken. The refrigerator in the unit was rotten inside with brown metals and horrible smell oozing out. The host later brought a chest freezer supported with two big stones to be able to sit making all out food frozen. Blender is there but now working. The master bedroom and other bathroom is missing door which made the water from shower splashing all over the bathroom floor creating safety hazards as a guest can fall from slippery floor coming from shower. TV was super old with only 3 channels available to watch which were boxing and advertising channels, internet was never provided but was told on the day of check out, they forgot to inform us of the password. The owner of the property needs a visit to particular back flat on the ground floor to access the continuous use of this unit for guest. The blanket in one of the room looks like blood bathed blanket and my kids was so scary at night when it was discovered. Had to call the host on ground around 12 midnight for a change. It’s a complete horrible standard giving the serenity of the property around this facility.

I stay a total of 5 days and The Hosts cared less about cleaning the place after the first day. The TV in my room never worked. I complained and they did nothing. They only cared about the payment. The Host manager is so non challant and unhelpful. The cleaners were rude and hostile. The Gate men were lazy and you would wait before they do anything. They are never willing or smiling.

I had the best time!

I had the best time! I work in the global hospitality industry, which is very human centric. Every interaction I've had this week has been stellar. Strangers will wish you a "good morning', "good afternoon" and "good evening" with genuine heartfelt warmth. I've loved every minute of my time in Lagos. Is it for everybody? No. It's intense, a little crazy, but culturally fascinating and well worth taking the time to really "be present" here. The city will reward you. Trust me.

Ikeja is really nice and quiet.

Ikeja is really nice and quiet. It has this old school feel and I felt nostalgic, it reminded me of my neighborhood as a child. It has everything you need, all different types or restaurants like local dishes, Chinese, chip shop etc. Most importantly it does not have a traffic jam like other parts of Lagos.

Well being in Ikeja depends on your reasons for coming.

Well being in Ikeja depends on your reasons for coming. It's central to most business locations, especially the airport if your business is around there. If you can monitor the traffic properly, your visit won't turn out so badly at all.
