The food was excellent. We are gluten free and they were extremely careful to make sure we had what we needed and took extra care to ensure there was no contamination. Our dinner there was absolutely delicious and the service superb.

Highly recommended! The hospitality of Rob and Karen from De Magneet Hotel is beyond any expectation. A great family hotel, with a warm environment, clean and quiet, nice breakfast and an intimate bar in the lobby. We stayed at the big family apartment which had plenty of room, a balcony with a peaceful view and was well-equipped. The hotel is situated in Hoorn, north of Holland, so we could explore the north easily - texel, Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Volendam - all about 30-40 minutes drive. Close to Lidl supermarket, 3 minutes drive. Great experience, one to remember:)
