Rooms were large, with a small patio including chairs, and gave a great view of mountains. Beds were very comfortable and the staff very friendly. Happy hour in the lounge every day for free, with a choice of wines and beer together with snacks. This felt more like staying at a friend's home rather than a hotel. Highly recommended

What an absolute lovely place to stay for our Wedding. Alana was absolutely warming on arrival. We had an alpine view which actually had a view of the lake also. It had absolutely everything we needed and could have stayed for a month. The fire was gorgeous on the one cold morning we had and the beds were dreamy. We stayed with family for our wedding amongst 2 apartments and worked very well. Getting ready for our big day in this beautiful space was amazing. I feel like we will be back for an anniversary next year.

My husband and I loved this accommodation. It's close to town, clean, easy to get around and has the friendliest staff. We loved the coffee/tea machines on each floor (complimentary beverages) and the terrace. Even though it rained while we were at Queenstown, we managed to do some trekkings, visit Milford Sound (a must during the wet season) and visit the town. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Queenstown.

Unfortunately I didn’t have opportunity to tried the breakfast at the hotel, because my tour started early. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. I really enjoying beautiful view of the Lake from the hotel and they provide shuttle to the airport too. Everything make my holiday very memorable.

Queenstown is an incredible place, so much to do and see. Restaurant choices were so good, it’s hard to choose where to go. Visiting Queenstown in the summer is wonderful, Lupins in bloom, beautiful weather, it’s a fantastic summer destination as well as winter. The landscape is breathtaking, we all fell in love with Queenstown

This is a great base for hiking Aspiring National Park.

This is a great base for hiking Aspiring National Park. It is worth hunting out the less popular tracks such as Juday Track and Sugarloaf Pass as wellas the popular multi-day hikes: Greenstone, Caples, Routeburn and Rees- Dart, all of which are great but busy.

Kingston is only a short trip to Queenstown but is a small village with so much to see and do, Golf, Kinston Flyer train and the lake for boating without the all the people of Queenstown. It was close to the lake but about a 15 minute drive into Queenstown city centre so not really ideal if you plan on hitting the clubs constantly. You definitely need a car, it’s about $45 one way for an Uber. It was brilliant for taking nice like walks along the lake and chilling, reading etc.

The scenery around Queenstown is spectacular.

The scenery around Queenstown is spectacular. We rented a car and drove around. My favorite was a road off the main road where we saw lots of sheep up close. We ate at Flame twice because the food was great, of good quality, and lots of choices. We went on the Skyline Gondola and the Walter Peak boat and sheep farm experience. We loved both. I even rode the luge at the Gondola. We also had the buffet at the Gondola, and that was excellent with tons of great food and choices, even for gluten-free and dairy-free. I went to the Onsen hot pools and massage and that was an amazing experience. The scenery was beautiful and the massage with Imas was great. My partner did the Shotover boat ride, and he didn't love it. He said it was very jerky and bumpy, and he loves boats.

Glenorchy is out of this world. Stunning. The road trip there is overwhelming and there are so many fabulous hikes. The wee village has a great hotel with really nice food and vegetarian friendly, same with Mrs Woolly's General Store and good coffee.

So many options for adventure and exhilarating experiences. There's something for everyone. The luge was more go-karts downhill but great fun. Expect waits for first time riders. Best for minimum 3 rides. The Shotover jet boat ride was amazing and the Onsen hot pools super relaxing.

Small town. Great general store. Cafe kitchens dont open till 12 so its just coffee n cabinet food till then. Epic views and good walks to do. Ate at Mr Glen's Taphouse - great coffee and cabinet food. Recommend walk around boardwalk and lagoon. Need a 4WD if going to Paradise - river crossings.
