This was a wonderful place to stay! Judith was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We stayed with friends for a wedding and it was the perfect setup for us all to be together but have our own space as well.

Great selections of borad games and entertainment. There netflix on the tv with all other channels . A fun pool table and a whole tennis cort and trampoline just fab
Really easy to use and modern appliances . Lovely coffe maker
Very comfy beds and great shower with really nice shampood and soaps. ( Great after a long days walk )
The double dishwasher and washing machine are very handy .
The location.
Lovely situation. Only a stones throw from the owners home so if you needed anything they are there to help.
Really close to some lovely restaurants only 20 mins walk or 2 min drive away . And very close to rangiora.
The farm surrounding the house is reslly sweet with poads of alpacas lamas and goats to great you when you walk to the fence
Bonno the dog is especially very friendly and lovely. We had our aunty over with a baby and he just laid with us for the day it was very adorable.
Finally the hosts
Anna and mark are amazing hosts . They give you ultimate privacy without the felling of being neglected
They are so accommodating always asking if we needed topping up on coffee pods or soaps and so on . They supplied extra plates and cups and everything we could need .
Just amazing. And for hiw much each night was it was almost half of other places we had stayed at for the last 3 weeks in way better condition.

Ohoka is a small place with friendly folk and the area in which I stayed. It's peaceful countryside with the occasional hawk or falcon to watch. Local produce and craft are both good. It's a nice peaceful place.

Easy to get to Christchurch and other surrounding towns of Kaiapoi and Rangiora. Some good eating establishments in Pegasus and surrounding areas with good variety. Cocoa Blacks and the School Collective great for breakfast/lunch. The Good Home at Pegasus and Five Stags in Rangiora good for evening meal. A number of golf courses nearby at Kaiapoi, Rangiora, Amberley and Pegasus and only a short drive to more courses in Christchurch.

Great area, very dry an warm in summer, also reasonably busy area but has plenty of great options, great place for familys and pet Friendly areas are very accommodating and welcoming, worth staying the extra day to explore around the area and enjoy what the area has to offer. We stayed at the rangiora eco holiday park with our dogs, it was really good, affordable and comfortable. Very easy area to navigate around and plentiful great food choices for those vaxed and non vaxed.

This is a great location for somewhere to stay if leaving Christchurch in the morning or if having arrived in Christchurch in the evening, but not wanting to stay in the city itself. It's about 15km out. Not a lot of eating choices in town - I couldn't eat at the only hotel because every table was in use and/or reserved (on a Wednesday evening) so had to go to the little strip of various takeaway places opposite, where there was plenty of choice

Oxford is a pleasant wee country town with one main street and very friendly locals. The dinner at the pub was what you expect from a country pub and the pies at the Sheffield Bakery are another level!!

The district is easy to travel in, with several villages offering shopping, food and drink plus a petrol Station. Some great cafes and small restaurants in each village. It is a district close to Christchurch and is a great option for a country stay.
