I stayed here with my partner for 2 nights and this was our favourite place that we stayed in New Zealand! The host was extremely kind and friendly and provided plenty of snacks and food items for our stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean with modern decor. 66 Chaucer B&B, although sharing the main entrance with the hosts, has a very independent entryway and is very private. It is a small, elegant, and beautiful accommodation space. Penny prepared many New Zealand locally-produced tea, coffee, chocolate drinks, and biscuits. Even the bathroom supplies are made in New Zealand, such as shampoo and soap! The room is equipped with a TV that can access the internet, allowing us to search for TV programs we want to watch on YouTube. Laurie and Penny not only recommended excellent local restaurants, but also kindly reminded us of the time changes during the daylight saving. I have to say, the breakfast bags prepared by Penny gave us a good mood after setting off. The chocolate muffins and blueberry muffins, along with fruit yogurt and juice, were a perfect combination.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with food and with kitchen ware. Our host Andria looked after us as if we were close family. This beautiful house is surrounded by the most wonderful garden....the roses were in bloom and the colours were breathtaking.
