Old heritage house with several guest rooms. It's like living in a museum ! Our host, Raman was very kind and helpful. There is nice little cafe and restaurant in the house which also served our included breakfast. The house is located in the small calm town of Taqah, just in front of the Taqah Castle (that can be visited), the Afif Mosque, some nice restaurants, a supermarket and other small stores, close to the beach. And we could drive to some nove natural and cultural sites nearby. The room is a little small and the wifi was a littl;e weak but we're still giving this hotel a 10; don't change anything ! It was a fantastic experience. We would come back and we recommend this heritage house to everyone.

The location was incredible: such breathtaking views at the top of Jebel Samhan! The service was fantastic, the guys took care of everything. Everything was perfect. What we enjoyed the most was the friendliness of the staff. They always greeted us und helped if it was necessary. We would like to mention two persons especially: Rasha on the frond desk. She is such a warmhearted and friendly person. We felt so well with her! And also the man who cleaned our room, Murad. He was always helpful and so friendly. We felt so well in this hotel.

This place deserves better reviews. My wife & I stayed here a few nights for the beaches of Salalah and were very impressed. First of all, the staff was incredible. Ibrahim, Ali (and others) were extremely attentive to our needs and went above and beyond retrieving for us two coconuts to drink. Ali made us umm ali upon request (at no charge) which is a delicious Egyptian dessert. Was not expecting that at all and very kind. Rooms were great. Wifi was very good throughout almost the entire complex including our rooms which we know with other resorts doesn't always work. Beach was INCREDIBLE. My wife and I have been to 37 countries and literally dozens of top beaches and this is one of the best in the world we've been to. Not busy at all, crystal clear water (keep in mind this is end of Feburary and March and not the rainy season). Super peaceful chill vibe. Food was great as well. Buffet for breakfast and dinner. The chef even performed some Egyptian music for us in Oman-style tents which was a treat. 10/10 recommend. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. May Jesus bless you 🙏

The breakfast was very decent. They kept changing the menu every day so we didn't had to eat same stuff every day. We had an executive suite with 2 rooms so the room was decent size with nice and comfy beds. Staff was friendly and the hotel was decently cleaned. The location of the hotel is pretty amazing and gives easy access to the main highways, nearby attractions and a lot of eating options. The AC and heater was working perfect. A very special thank you to Osama from the reception and Omri Hassan, the Food & Beverage Manager. They helped us so much in organizing a special birthday celebration, and their support, warmth, and professionalism meant the world to us. Salalah and especially the surrounding mountains contain a unique environment with magical natural views. But, if you want to see the lush green landscapes and waterfalls, make sure to come in the correct monsoon season known as khareef, which is during the summer months. Once the rains stop, the waterfalls dry up and the lush greenery turns dry and yellow. I came in November, which is a perfect time for nature photography as there is no rain to damage the camera and nature is still very alive, but all waterfalls had already completely dried up and the lush greenery was gone. The region, like the entire country, is very safe, with friendly and helpful people.

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect...

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect if you look for a quite and familiar place. Everyone is friendly and helpful. the surrundings are stunning and the trip is aboslutely worth it. There are several resorts in the area but they are very decent and not invasive.

I liked almost everything, it’s not overcrowded like other destinations in the Middle East. Loved the Geography, dramatic coast line, mountains, beautiful beaches, lush green areas in East and of course the desert. Would be a great area to hire a motor home to explore, think the region lends itself to this, I believe this would attract tourists! Maybe a weekly flight direct from London with Oman Air but at the same time would hate the country to be spoilt by tourism.
