The resort was perfect for the two night stay in the mountains. It is a perfectly well located hotel to reach out the two main hikes in the region: Balcony walk (W6) and Jabal Shams summit walk (W4). Accessible with a normal car, but you have to be a confident driver and drive slow. Breakfast and dinner were very decent given we were only a few guests staying in the hotel. Thanks to that we enjoyed a free upgrade. Views from the hotel over the mountains were spectacular, especially during sunrise/sunset.

The guest house is in a perfect location for the Balcony walk. It is on the doorstep of the start of the walk. The food we had for both meals was lovely. We were nervous about driving to the accomodation as we didn’t have a 4*4. We arranged for a transfer from Al Hamara which is 1 hour away for 50 OMR return. This was well worth it. The driver was on time and drove safely. He also pointed out some sights and stopped off at a gorgeous coffee shop en route :)

Very interesting place at the end of the bumpy road just at the beginning of the balcony walk. 2 simple rooms with the stunning view! It’s really amazing for the sunrise and sunset. You can order a breakfast and dinner in the owner’s house.

The place is so good, comfortable and clean, but the best is their owners. They are the most incredible people I ever meet in a hotel, they will help you whatever you need, they will pick you if you need, they will be in constant contact with you to feel you safe, they are sooo kind and good people that this was one of my best experiences in this travel. You should go there,they are amazing in all ways!!!!!!!! Also they knew I was traveling solo and give their 200% to make me feel safe and good, I really really appreciate, they are amazing!!!!!!!

The dome location is the most beautiful spot to stay in the area. It was so private and you have the stars at night and the sunrise in the morning, above the gorge. You’re so close to the walking track, but have even better views. The room was clean and comfortable and Saeed was a great host. Ram the chef in the nearby hotel was a really kind man and made delicious food. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Amazing location! Great atmosphere, beautifully melted in the surrounding area. I do not get some of the bad reviews. Of course it gets cold at night, you're at 2500+ m that has nothing to do with the hotel, do some research before you come here in your shorts from muscat. Chattering teeth at the restaurant? Nonsense. Cold food? No way The staff was excellent! ( Treat another how you want to be treated yourself might have been the case in some reviews? ) The small heater had done it's work in our room after we came back from dinner. It was warm enough. We think they redecorated the place recently as it was picture perfect, the photos on booking don't do it justice. (we had the chalet btw, can't comment on the tents) 7km from the starting point of the balcony walk (They opened up some apartments at the balcony walk as well, so cannot comment on that) It's an eco- friendly resort with luxury details . We absolutely loved it❤️

We arrived in the evening when it was already dark outside but Omran really did his best by contacting us on Whatsapp and helping us find the house. Very nice stay close to the mountains, so it's perfect for those who want to be close to the hiking spots. Its a big house so we didn't realize this when we were booking but its also perfect to book with friends or with family. Overall great stay and I recommend!
