- From US$167.53 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 558 reviewsHotel Review Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The pickup from the harbor worked perfectly, and we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. We stayed in an apartment in the Villa Moana, which I can highly recommend to everyone. The apartment was beautifully equipped, spotlessly clean, and in a great location. It also featured a wonderful terrace with a stunning sea view. A particular highlight was the private dock with stairs that made it easy to enter the sea. Snorkeling here was a great experience—even though it might not seem so at first glance, there’s plenty to discover upon closer inspection. During our stay, I spotted octopuses, lionfish, stingrays, turtles, and even a nurse shark (don’t worry—they’re more scared of you than you are of them, and they quickly swim away if you encounter them). We stayed on the upper floor, and in the evening, when the lights from the lower floor illuminate the water, you can watch the sharks hunting. It was an incredible and exciting sight. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and I would book here again. Mauruuru Francesco & MimiGuest review byGiuseppe FrancescoSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 50 reviewsThis place is a piece of paradise, a place on a remote motu where you arrive with a boat, just to enjoy nature and privacy brought to perfection. The place is designed in the most beautiful way, with little details at every corner, with paintings, old vases and statues. The amount of relaxation you receive in this place is incredible. The host is very friendly and helpful, contributing to the best experience in terms of hospitality. You basically have your own private island and your own private beach with all the comfort of a high end hotel. While some people might be a little concerned with mosquitos, please note that a reasonable quality repeller will solve this for you. We tried the very best in Bora Bora, including the high end resorts with water bungalows. I can say that without our experience at Fare Ahuna, our trip to Bora Bora would have been so much less complete. Thank you Tea for everything that you built there, and with a humble salute, I thank you for allowing us to experience this glimpse of paradise.Guest review byRaduRomania
- From US$2,712.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 587 reviewsReally lovely garden room. We stayed in the best overwater villa on the resort first so we were worried moving to a garden villa after would be disspointing after such an amazing water villa but we were very surprised! The garden villas are spacious with a big private patio/garden. You don't get the same privacy in a water villa! It was very beautiful and relaxing and of course the use a private pool is amazing. We also noticed the pool was a lot warmer than the water villas and obviously not as much breeze either.Guest review byCarolineUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 415 reviewsThe place is amazing, I booked the beachfront bungalow, the hotel's private beach. A wonderful view. We were very well received by the hotel host, who picked us up at the airport. The hotel has bikes for rent and lots of information about sightseeing. The beachfront bungalow has a well-equipped mini kitchen. There is a supermarket in front of the hotel, the beach is 2 minutes away, it has been considered one of the most beautiful in the world. I liked everything and I definitely recommend it and will be back.Guest review byAdrianaUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 70 reviewsThis place is not only simply unique and authentic like nothing you would expect from a tourist destination, but also reflects the spirit, dreams and deep understanding of South Sea culture by its loving and caring owners. Not only extremely comfortable but also a true gem for those who not only know how to look, but make an attempt to see. Super-welcoming and always approachable hosts, who walked every extra mile to make our stay a memory that truly stands out.Guest review byAlenaAustria
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 814 reviewsNice place with a very friendly host. We got a very nice bungalow, which had enough space inside and a place outside to sit. The communication with the host was super. There is a nice pool at the location. You can also do snorkling in the sea. It had everything we needed. Everything was perfect! I would like to come back one day again.Guest review byJOANNAPoland

Our favourite place was on the lagoon.
Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there. Restaurants were good and plentiful - we ate at Lucky House and Maitai Restaurants.Guest review byTracyAustralia - 10.0
Going to Matira Beach is a must.
Going to Matira Beach is a must. Have a drink or sunset at the Bora Bora Beach Club that's right on the beach. Go on a boat tour to a Motu (an islet) and snorkeling (ask for DiDi the boat captain).Guest review bychristianUnited States
