Beautiful location with a view over the jungle towards the sea and distant islands. Down steps to the estuary where you can hire a kayak and explore mangroves and beaches. Trips available to islands/waterfalls etc. Fabulous attentive staff and great food and drink available. A really unique experience.

Perfect Place to relax with the best Pool on the island! Enough space for a lot of people to chill at the pool. Great fellow travellers staying there too. You get chatting very quickly. The Hotel Staff is really kind, joyful and helpful. They can organise rides and trips for you. Unique architecture: one with nature. Really good food! If you do not like garlic you can ask for less ;) Billiard and games to pass time. I was able to pay by card (+3%) , make sure to bring enough cash if you want to pay for expenses that way. At least 250 Pesos for the Van ride back to Coron.

I had an amazing stay at West Atlantic Inn in Palawan, and I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s the perfect combination of affordable accommodations and functional, well-equipped rooms—clean, with fresh beddings and towels, TV, and fast internet. Whether you're staying short-term or for an extended period, everything you need is provided, making it an ideal choice for any traveler. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise, offering a wide menu with delicious options, making meals convenient and enjoyable. Plus, the location is perfect—with an ATM and a convenience store just in the same building! It’s also strategically placed between Busuanga and Coron, giving easy access to the beach, dive centers, and other hotels in Concepcion. A huge shoutout to Patrick, who seamlessly juggled roles as both chef and receptionist—he was super attentive, ensuring I felt completely at home throughout my stay. Also, big thanks to the owners, Rey and Mevs, who were hands-on, hospitable, and always making sure my needs were met. Their warmth and dedication truly made my experience exceptional. I will definitely stay at West Atlantic Inn whenever I’m in Busuanga. If you're looking for great value, functional accommodations, and genuinely amazing people, this is the place to be! We found the hotel due to a last-minute cancellation of our boat, and it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to us. So far, this has been one of our best stays in the Philippines. The hotel is located far from the city (50 minutes by scooter), which makes for a peaceful stay while still allowing access to activities such as kayaking, visiting beautiful beaches, and taking part in the tours offered by the hotel. We did the Black Island tour, and it was simply magical—without being overcrowded with tourists and featuring stunning beaches. The included breakfast was also delicious, as was the rest of the menu for lunch and dinner. There was a great variety of options, and it was one of the best places we ate—the fried calamari was especially delicious. A special thanks to Ra, the owner, who welcomed us warmly from the beginning to the end of our stay. She took care of us throughout, ensuring everything went smoothly and making things easier for us. Her kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference. We even extended our stay by an extra day just to enjoy the place a little longer, and we would recommend it without hesitation. The fact that our room didn’t have Wi-Fi was also a big plus, as it allowed us to disconnect even more.

Nestled in the tranquil south-western part of the island, Busuanga Bay Lodge boasts an outdoor infinity pool, a private dive centre and in-house wine cellar.

Our experience at Busuanga Bay Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was amazing and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The guest relations team was outstanding—they checked on us regularly and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The restaurant and food were excellent, offering delicious dishes with great service and a beautiful atmosphere. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. All in all, the service was truly amazing on every level. The only thing to note is that the hotel is in a remote area, but it is a great place for divers, especially those planning to dive the wrecks, as it’s close to dive operators who focus mainly on wreck diving.

The cottages are lovely! It just newly opend, when we booked our stay and there was only one cottage: it was directly at the beach, the view was stunning. The owners were very nice too, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed, also There were hammok directly St the beach. Breakfast was brought to the beach, so that we could have it viewing the ocean. The cottage was simple and clean, there even was electricity and a fan. We only stayed one night, but really loved it :)

The Ocam Ocam cottage was located right next to the beach beautiful location. With access to Black island and the ability to do island hopping. The room was clean with a shared bathroom & shower provided with a mosquito protector. The facilities were great with 2 restaurants nearby the owner she was very friendly and accommodating (I had checked out a bit later) she did not charge me extra and offered for me to stay at her uncles as my pick up was-in the late afternoon. A great community & stay.
