We arrived a day earlier than anticipated, they were generous enough to get us settled in a different room and give us 5 star treatment. The owner came to our room to personally inspect it. We stayed here because we couldn't find any availability at pearl-farm, which I had stayed at a few years back and loved. Now I don't understand why anyone would stay at pearl-farm over this place. This is a better resort, hands-down. The food is much better, the service is much better, and it is far prettier than pearl-farm. If it hadn't been for me being sick and desparately needing wifi from bed, the stay would have been perfect.

The Staff were exceptional. Attention to detail and customer focus was outstanding. Location was kept in traditional Philippines pacific style which is so much better than a giant concrete monolith planted in a beautiful natural part of the world. Only 45 minutes by private boat is very commutable. Food was excellent and catered for everyone. All the facilities were constantly being cleaned and maintained to postcard status 24/7 Happy hour everyday and 50% off all drinks for a further hour daily . No request was too hard for the exceptional staff . Great value for money .

Very good location, across the street is Abreeza Mall, it's around 30 mins drive (in rush hour) from the airport. The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is underground parking if you drive, a swimming pool and a very well equipped gym. The staff were very friendly and helpful.. definitely will be staying there again when I am visiting Davao.

The rooms were quite nice, and the hotel was well placed close to a mall. The cafe had excellent food and drink, and we enjoyed a New years dinner there, to much satisfaction. We will definitely consider The Pinnacle again the next time we go back to Davao.

Tours were nice but the Abreeza mall and apartments were a total disappointment. Over priced services and a nearby sewage treatment substation that smelled up the area combined with unrepaired earthquake damage were very disappointing.

Medium sized city to forget Manila for a few days. Tagum is not crowded, is cleaner, not so polluted, there is Nature very close to the city and the rivers are clean. The food is great, mostly the seafood, so fresh, tasty and affordable. Even home delivery food has good quality, much better than in Metro Manila for the same price or sometimes less. Neighbors are respectful, friendly, clean and quiet. They do not go annoying each other as in Manila. Tagum city is a good place to probe that peace of mind locations are still there waiting for us to get a work from home job and reconcile ourselves with the human being.

The Kopiat island in general is so clean, relaxing and safe place to stay.. All the staff and crews are very polite, respectful and helpful. They are always available when needed. The food is fresh, clean and well prepared and presented. The aminities are great.

such a lovely place to stay... and an amazing host. highly recommended... suggest hiring a scooter near the port to get there as it will be about the same cost as a single tuk tuk journey Mommy Mia is also an excellent chef and maybe persuaded to make a simple meal for a reasonable cost. I'll be back soon

Davao is a growing and vibrant city.

Davao is a growing and vibrant city. However, there isn't a lot to do there. The traffic problems are significantly worse than last time I visited and rush hour traffic is standstill. The city has lots of great places to eat, and some fantastic shopping malls. The people are, as always, immensely friendly and the city is as safe as any I have visited.

Samal is a quaint and beautiful island. There are some nice places like the Monfort Bat Sanctuary and the Giant Clam Conservancy. I went to the white sand beach for swimming. Being in a channel, the current was swift so I couldn't really go out beyond the swimming area, and it suddenly gets deep as well. I didn't like it for swimming, more for touring.

Kopiat was hard for us to get to—2 overnight flights on the way in and out, plus a long and expensive ground transfer. Our accommodations on the island were incredible, but we were a little afraid to snorkel because of the snakes.

Safe.

Safe. Walking or strolling at 12 midnight and it’s really safe. If that was Manila, daaaaang, I’d have lost items or my life. One thing I found amazing, when people reserved tables at fast-food chains or restos, they place their phones. Like they’re not afraid to lose them and someone grabbing those.
