Literally wonderful hotel. It is located in a beautiful and peaceful location within a natural park. It is clear that the architects and designers wanted to respect the place, starting from the shapes and colors of the structure on the outside and in the interior design. All the staff is extremely kind and professional, assisting the customer from arrival to departure and throughout every day spent in the hotel. The breakfast is exceptional, with a huge choice of products and a lot of variety from day to day. The Azeitona restaurant inside is perfect for gourmet dining, the chef is excellent. The swimming pool is very large and allows for a nice afternoon rest if you don't want to go to the beach. Arrifana beach is few minutes away and it is very beautiful with constant ocean winds: a surfers' paradise. We stayed in a very comfortable and spacious sea view suite, with attention to all the details.

The room was spacious, very clean and tidy. The bed was large and comfortable, and the towels were soft. I especially loved the Molton Brown shampoo and shower gel — the scent was amazing. I only booked three nights before heading to Seville, but honestly, I wish I had stayed longer by the sea.

Our first impression was exceptional: we were warmly welcomed with champagne and fresh fruit – a truly thoughtful and gracious gesture. Throughout our stay, the staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. We didn’t just feel like guests – we felt truly valued. The rooms have been completely renovated, featuring a modern design and extremely comfortable beds that made our rest truly enjoyable. Every detail was carefully considered. Breakfast was also a highlight – not only generous, but also freshly prepared to order. It was the perfect way to start each morning: delicious, relaxed, and tailored to our preferences. Our stay left us with warm memories. If you’re looking for top-level service, comfort, and a real holiday atmosphere – this hotel is absolutely worth your attention. We hope to return again soon.

Friendly and helpful staff Clean, comfortable rooms with a balcony. Twin sinks! Great selection of food. There's something for everyone. Huge range of fresh fruit and salads. Easy check in and out. Great little shop in the hotel, a little expensive but convenient. Variety of cocktails, one type of beer & cider both nice. Beer, Red, white & Róse wine on tap in the restaurants, self service. Cider only available at the pool bar. 40 minutes from Faro airport. Private taxi was €44 on Booking.com each way for 3 passengers. 20 minutes to the old town. Uber was between €10-€12. Couldn't fault anything. Will definitely return!

Very spacious rooms, huge balconies, very comfortable bathrooms. The two-bathroom residence has two bathrooms, very comfortable beds, very clean rooms, even the outdoor showers are very clean. Newly renovated hotel, 10 swimming pools, very helpful staff, good fish restaurants very close to the hotel, a lovely shuttle to the beach. Everything you need is there, including a nice musician at the pool bar playing Bossa Nova music.

Our flight was early in the morning, normal check-in is after 4PM, but they had a room ready and we were allowed to check-in and get the room keys around 11AM which really made it very comfortable for us on the first day.

The old town was lovely and the beaches great but overall I was disappointed in Albufeira. I thought there would have been more to do but there wasn't. It felt more like a beach holiday than a city break. We travelled in November so it might have been to do with being out of season. A lot of venues, trips etc were closed or not on offer at this time of year. The marina was a 30 minute walk and that was where you picked up the tours for the dolphin and cave trip. Some tours offer a pick up from your hotel but we were in an apartment so this didn't apply to us. The bus station is also a 25 minute walk uphill from the old town. Albufeira was also very expensive to eat and drink but the quality of the food was very good. I'm glad I saw it but I don't think I would return.

Amazing base for exploring the Algarve region by car.

Amazing base for exploring the Algarve region by car. There were so many restaurants in Lagos accessible by foot, and nice little shops. Try Casinha do Petisco (but book before) if you love seafood, churrasqueira Praca d'armas for local and casual peri-peri chicken, and Taninos for a slightly fancier meal. We mainly drove out of Lagos to go hiking along the South/Southwest coasts. We went in November so it was low season but we still have sunny weather and temperatures of 15-18 degrees, so perfect for if you're active. I would recommend kayaking or hiking. Visit the Ponte de Piedade. We did the seven hanging valleys hike and also kayaked to the Benagil cave, we went to Sao Vicente and Algar Seco.

Too short a visit to give a definitive answer as attending athletics event and not enough to explore, however liked what we saw. Had a superb meal at Namaste India Tandoori Restaurant in direction of Praia de Rocha. Without personal transport Uber was ideal.

Easy to get around, lovely beach, lots of beautiful places to eat. We stayed for 4 days and it was a perfect amount of time as we didn't plan any day trips. Bolt taxi - an excellent service and we would highly recommend the Wyndham Hotel.

Beautiful fishing village with gorgeous coastal views. I loved the fact that there were no high rise buildings. Very quaint and charming location, and centrally located to visit other parts of the Algarve coast!

The ruins of the ancient castle overlooking the town...

The ruins of the ancient castle overlooking the town enhances the dreamlike feeling of this very old town. Just wandering the streets is enough, but then there is terrific hiking. Ideal for those who like heritage and outdoor adventure in the "real" Portugal outside of the large City. And then there are the people, who could not do enough to help.

Sagres is beautiful.

Sagres is beautiful. Perfect for people who are not afraid of wind or cold water. Because of that you find yourself in places with not too many people and always have more than enough space in the beach. Some beaches are full of trailervans but people are nice and chill.

Our visits to Armacao de Pera have been out of season so reasonably quiet, perfect for us. The beach is one of the longest in the Algarve plus a boardwalk which extends for miles. Excellent for those who want long walks. There are small more sheltered sections of beach immediately in front of the central area for sunbathers and swimmers. Wide selection of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of central accommodation. Large Lidl supermarket close to front with a large selection of smaller supermarkets and shops in the central area. Recently completed car park on beach front costs but convenient. Not as lively as some resorts and not to everyone's taste, but we like it.

Wonderful

Wonderful Village lots of walks and old cathedral magic wonderful open air pool perfect , lunch at a wonderful restaurant that has a grill and lovely balcony called palhmerina in centre of town great potty studio and gardens as well

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic.

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic. A great place for a short visit if you like to avoid the crowds or to look for accomodation if you plan to explore the gorgeous 'vicentina' coast, with car access to many great beaches. Most of these beaches are likely to be too 'wild' for most people, with difficult access, but they are perfect for the more adventurers and, again, for those who prefer to avoid the crowds. Plus, there are a few places in the village centre where you can enjoy a really tasteful light meal, of which I'd definitely reccommend the restaurants 'Ao Largo' and 'Casa Verde'.
