This was a really nice hotel. Our room was large and comfortable. We used the indoor pool and hot tub which were nice though closes at 8pm. The restaurant was a bit overpriced and did not have many non-seafood options but the food was good and the atmosphere was elegant.

Vila barca is a 15 min walk to the city center and is quite close to a few natural pools! They have AC which is fabulous and helpful in the hotter months. Vila Barca exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend!

Situated on Madalena, Pico Island, Caravelas is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on 3 sides and overlooks Faial Island. It features an outdoor pool, a 24-hour reception, and car rental.

We had a nice and comfortable room with a little basket of fruits for your welcome. The room had a nice balcony with a view to the harbour and Faial. In a minute you can reach the harbour and the city centre. There is a cleaning service everyday (if you need it). The breakfast buffet is really big and has a lot of offerings (they even had soy milk and milk without lactose; lots of bread, ham, cheese, cereals with different seeds, lots of fruits, many cakes, eggs, beans and so on...). The staff is very polite. We are not used to big hotels and normally stay at smaller/simpler places so we missed nothing at all.

Close to the city center. Very kind and outgoing owners, who will go the extra mile to make your stay a pleasant one. Very much in the hostel spirit. Avoid if you more into a "peaceful retreat" state of mind, as you will be invited to dinners, pizza parties and bonfires and share breakfast at a communal table

The whole vibe of the place is incredible: lava rock walls, black / orange / green scenery all around, and, of course, the view to the almighty Pico. Cláudio is a super nice and helpful host who left us a welcome basket of all the goods one could dream of. The apartment is very well decorated.

Lovely house in Pico island. We truly felt at home there, the house is very comfortable and cosy. It has everything needed, even washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen. It's a beautiful place and very peaceful, too. Totally recommended for those traveling to Pico!
