Amazing hotel in a very ideal location! Staff was always polite and helpful. Rooms were super clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Complimentary drinks and chocolates were offered every day. The hotel is centrally located, right next to Augusta Arch and closed to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, museums and shops. Absolutely recommend and we will be back for sure!

Tp be honest I was really suprised with my stay in Pousada Alfama. It was everything amazing, from the check-in to the check out. They gave us some beers, pasteis de nata, chocolate, Coke and also a tile, painted by hand, as a gift. The coffe break is really nice, everything was clean. There is a coffe/tea machine 24h available for you to have free coffe. THe location is also really nice, 5 minutes walking to the Sao Jorge castle. I reall recomend and I would certainly stay there again.

Spankingly new hotel, and you can tell the owners didn't scrimp on the furnishings and the details. I loved the location of the hotel in Saldanha. Its not in an overtly touristy area but has several retails establishments nearby (Zara, Massimo, supermarkets, etc), and is a quick ride to the historic centre of Lisbon (8 euros by Uber). The hotel has both an indoor and an outdoor pool.

I had been in different cities in Europe because I really like over there. Lisbon surprised me. It is a clean city very safe, the prices of food affordable. It has a lot of story. I enjoyed everything about Lisbon!! I will be back with my daughter as soon as we can !!!!

Cascais - very thankful to my colleague, a local from Porto, for recommending I stay at Cascais! It was the best decision, the town felt like home, and was easy access to everywhere! Food was excellent, transportation options perfect, and very walkable! I walked everywhere in the town, and went to Sintra twice via bus from bus depot, with excellent bus service. It felt safe no matter what time of the day or night- and even though there were tourists around, it didn't feel overwhelming like Lisbon or Porto, as there was a sense of peace and belonging! I want to go back again.

The village is not the most beautiful village of Portugal, but it has everything, the restaurants are good and the prices are very attractive. The little center is quaint and very walkable. And the bonus is that it is very close to Lisbon.

There were two issues that were not quite good.

There were two issues that were not quite good. One, the air conditioning was not working properly; one night it was too cold and the other 6 nights it did not work at all. Secondly, the shower was very slippery. I almost fell and slightly hurt my foot trying to prevent a fall. Other than that, everything else was extraordinary.

Oeiras is a suburb of Lisbon, so not overwhelmed by tourists. We found some great places to eat that were appreciative of our custom. There was a fantastic vegan restaurant just outside the town centre (Alma Veg). The main problem for us was the ddual carriageway that passes right by the beaches.

We did not see much of Carcavelos other than the restaurants near the flat and the beach. The staff at Goa Square were friendly, helpful, and always available with recommendations. The rooms themselves were spotless and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. Plus, the location in Amadora is great for exploring Lisbon. There are plenty of sights nearby, and it's easy to get around. Just a heads-up that there can be some noise from the cuisine at night, so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs. Overall, though, a great stay!

It was a clean friendly city, all uphill & down dale, lovely shops & restaurants. If you'd never visited before there's lots to see & do. The Aquarium was tremendous. The Blue Cruise left much to be desired!
