A very nice hotel, the room was clean and new, we enjoyed the breakfast! The hotel provided a nice meal outside in the yard for the Romanian National Day (very thoughtful, they do that every year they said) and it was very tasty. The staff very nice and willing to help. We felt comfortable and cozy being there.

The view of the castle from the balcony was the primary reason I booked this hotel. I wasn't disappointed. Sitting outside, looking at the illuminated castle with the sound of the river flowing alongside us at night, even though it was close to freezing, was blissful. The room and the bathroom were a lot nicer than I expected. The photos don't do them justice. I was there in March and the temperature outside was cold, but the room was nice and warm and the shower had ample hot water. Check in was uncomplicated with a key code at the main door and a room key at reception. The breakfast room had stunning views of the castle and the surrounding countryside. We chose to just have some simple cheese and toast for breakfast, as we weren't hungry, but omelette and eggs were also on offer. Coffee and different teas were available for us to serve ourselves. We were able to use the parking after check out, which was good because it was a mere 10 minutes walk from there to the castle and 5 minutes to restaurants, bars and shops. The owner was very friendly and spent time to chat with us. There is seating outside, with splendid views, just a little bit too cold for us to take advantage of this in March.

I liked everything. The location is a quiet and peaceful street and at the same time 5 minutes walk from the center and the castle. Everywhere was clean. The bed is very comfortable. Very good location near Dracula's Castle. All rooms are very clean. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances. The owner is very friendly. Nearby is the Brandeberg restaurant, which serves delicious regional dishes. I highly recommend it.

Perfect location, close to the castle, restaurants, shops. Although outside the temperatures were low during the night, inside it was perfect. Good room size, also bathroom. We also had a small balcony where we could leave our hiking gear. Mr Lucian welcomed us and showed us to our room. He was a true storyteller and shared some of his acquired wisdom with us.
