The facilities, especially when travelling with children, are amazing. The huge indoor playground that we were allowed to use till late in the evening, the wonderfull pools and the large carpeted areas in the hotel lobby, as well as the huge rooms made it a very relaxing stay for kids and for us parents. We even prolonged our stay with 2 days, because we didn't feel like going anywhere else after this great exeperience at Aurelius. The smallest room is 60 m2, our was on booking 80 m2 but we received a free upgrade for a 100 m2 room, so lots of space for our little one to tun around. All These for 110 Euros per night in extra season with spa , parking and breakfast inkl. makes it the best value for money i've ever seen. There is also no possibility for the kids to run infront of the car, as the street is separates from the Hotel by a little lake. The restaurants are also very child friendly. Even without kids, I would still come to this hotel, because with these large spaces, kids dont really get to disturb anyone. The views and the spa are spectacular Super friendly staff :-)

The apartments are very nice (even though some building are not fully finished -they are still working on the halls), but very comfy and big. The view from our apartment was amaizing. Food really good and a variaty of choises. The spa was not entirely open when we went (sauna was closed), but the inside pool really nice. The outside infinity pool is quite small and I had greater expectations by seeing the phtos only.

Beautiful place to escape to for some quiet, and just a 20-minute bus ride to the historic center of Brasov. It's also a quick taxi ride to a couple of caves and historical sites near Rasnov. Lots of hiking and a gorgeous spa -- basically, something for everyone. Restaurants along the main road/lake area play loud pop/folk music constantly, so if quiet is important to you, book further up the road. Be prepared that dining options are limited and a bit expensive as it's a resort town, but you have grocery stores and more restaurant variety nearby in the city for a pinch.

Beautiful region, very touristy and popular but rightfully...

Beautiful region, very touristy and popular but rightfully so. If you like mountain, fresh air, good food, warm, welcoming people this is the place for you. Amazing landscapes and trails are here and in the surroundings. You can spend weeks here and still leave unexplored places behind. It's not the first nor the last time we were here :))

If you are a good at skiing, you will see all the ski slopes...

If you are a good at skiing, you will see all the ski slopes in one day as there are not too many, at most you need 2 days skiing there. The are very few distractions or restaurants working in the evening
