Wonderful eco lodge set in 4.5 hectares of gardens, fruit, veg and flowering plants. Great little cabins with everything you could want. Communal meals made you feel right at home. Sitting round the fire after dinner chatting with the owner and people from all over the world!

Egide was an amazing host. My Cruiser had a serious mechanical issue and even though it was evening he managed to get a local mechanic, stood by and helped with translation, all while juggling other issues, and always with a smile. I had a great sleep and super appreciated the packed breakfast/lunch for the next day in the park!

This place is in incredible. The staff do so much to make you feel so comfortable as soon as you pull up. We were greeted so warmly and Petite took us for an awesome stroll around the village and to see the sunset. We also had an opportunity to talk to the owners about some of the amazing work they do with the community and to meet some of the children they support. On top of all of that, the food and customer service was absolutely superb! Do yourself a favour and stop here to meet the staff! They have a coffee shop and awesome little bar too. Absolutely amazing stay at Akagera Park Inn. Location is very convenient at just 3 min from the park entrance. Rooms are impeccable, the pool is amazing and the food delicious. Emmy and chef Daniel went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible. Thank you!

the property is secluded and within a rural part of Rwanda and is simply magical. 1 day is simply not enough time, i recommend a min. 2 day stay so you can really rest and enjoy the property. there’s lots of nature around you and a lot of activities you can do like kayaking, massage, a community walk and bird watching so there’s plenty that you can do while also ensuring you relax.
the food was really amazing, especially the communal dinner, the bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of hot water! honestly there’s nothing to fault - it was the perfect stay.
