Well, I will start that I’m a person that see the positive things first , so for me , my wife and the child this hotel is absolutely a bargain in terms of every thing and I mean , here you have a little and some staff a lot of every thing So much vegetation all over the hotel is absolutely 5* star decoration , literally you don’t have to go to the jungle, you feel like in mini jungle when you there, only with so much bonuses around, amazing pool for adults and children , kitchen with Italian chef, beach 60 seconds from the hotel with its own restaurant and all you need to have good swim on beautiful beach, sun beds, even double beds under the palms , so much attention to details is absolutely enjoyable to be there , all the hotel is new and my personal opinion is UNDERRATED , just bargain in Seychelles Thank you Laila hotel for just superb stay👍🏻

We spent two nights here and we felt really welcomed. The location is amazing close to the port, with an excellent view. I loved the interior design, colonial style.The staff was nice and friendly, the owner even offered herself to bring us to a restaurant when we weren’t able to find a taxi. The room was clean and we had also a small bad for the kid.

Such a wonderful location and so gorgeous inside. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. Our flight was delayed by 10 hours and they cancelled our first night for us and refunded the money. Excellent service.

The private pool was a highlight for us, offering a peaceful retreat where we could relax and enjoy the serene beauty of our surroundings. The resort itself is a paradise. Whether we were lounging on the beach, enjoying the spa, or taking in the views from one of the restaurants, every part of the resort exceeded our expectations. But what really stood out to us was the level of service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone—from the front desk to the housekeeping team—was not only helpful but also always smiling, making us feel genuinely cared for and at home. A huge thank you to Samson, our villa host, who made sure every little detail of our stay was taken care of. His thoughtful attention to our needs and his warm, friendly demeanor made a real difference in making our time there even more special. And a big shout-out to Rafayel at the restaurant as well. My requirement were for me quite clear, so it worked our perfect. A breakfast was continental with UK flavour, I had a villa with a garden view and after ten step sat at the ocean. A dinner should be paid separately and it was pricy but very delicious. My villa was decorated with flowers after each cleaning. Extremely helpful was the administrator and stuff. Everything, including needles for sewing, checking my excursion with an organizer, arrangement of new transfer after mine was cancelled and charging adaptor was orginized with smile and care.

The rooms are spacious and fully equipped with everything you might need. The welcome gesture was lovely – we received a cold towel and ice cream upon arrival. In the room, there were three types of chocolates to try and bottled water provided daily in glass bottles, which was a really nice touch. The beach and the pool area are beautiful and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.

Very underestimated property! View from the room and restaurant is gorgeous! Waking up every day to the sound of waves, lots of birds and flying foxes, very green area, like jungle. Staff are super nice and welcoming, very accommodating and responsive and helpful . Food is good, hotel is clean and new, 2 min to the amazing beach, local restaurant and shops.

Victoria city is a clean and safe city. City start winding down as early as 5pm. Central Market, museum, beaches around, great local and international foods. Easy to navigate the city. Car rental available at good price.

Unfortunately, my experience on Mahé was far from what I expected. The island simply didn’t leave a positive impression on me. Despite its natural beauty, I found very little that would make me want to return. The overall atmosphere didn’t suit me, and the destination felt overrated compared to many other places I’ve visited around the world. I honestly wouldn’t come back to Mahé, and I wouldn’t choose the Seychelles again as a travel destination.

Absolutely not! 1. coCkroaches and ants in a room. Unpleasant welcoming. Was trying to solve issue asked for manager who never showed up. Not even one time we got a bottle of water at the beach. And you can’t swim as bottom is very stony (shoes do not help) so Only do snorkeling but swimming is impossible and no one were swimming just chilling at shoe line. I would never back to this hotel again.

Port Glaud is a very nice part of Seychelles. Not as busy as the North East coast near Victoria which is nicer in my opinion. Driving around the Seychelles can be a bit of an experience - my advice is to let any ‘tail gaters’ pass you. Park up and walk to the local beaches. Visit the waterfall near the picturesque church - very nice for photos etc.

Lovely beaches. Great food. Car hire is worthwhile. Easy to drive around the island. You can just park up and wander down to the most exquisite beaches. Takamaka rum distillery was worth a visit. Also we hired a boat and did some fishing and snorkelling. Be aware of the sun. It's easy to get burnt

A cove to relax, chill out and soak up the peace and quiet. However, there’s a bus stop outside which, once a travel card is purchased and loaded with trips, it can take you on adventures all around the island.

Probably one of the best and nicest beaches I’ve ever seen. With white soft sand, clean beaches, plenty of places to hide in the natural shade. No seaweed, very few people and plenty of walking distance. Just perfect for a beautiful suntan and sunset.

Lovely long beach - very safe. Plenty of bars and restaurants to visit with choices from takeaway creole style dishes to mid budget Italian, Indian restaurants and higher budget restaurants with fish, Italian, Japanese options. Good snorkelling and scuba diving options available from the 6-8 dive centres. Also some water sport facilities such as paddle board.

Variety of shops. Safe. Cultural. Food is expensive. Beautiful lush terrain. Humid. Bus is best way to travel. Reasonable. When you change buses you have to pay fare again (12 rupees). Cabs are expensive. Many pharmacies if required. Locals are friendly, helpful. Bus service good M- F and Sunday. Minimal Saturday. Not much open Sunday.
