We stayed at Vila Mila for two nights and everything was amazing. The apartment was very spatious, the kitchen was well equipped and they even gave us a shopping bag and towels for the lake. There is a nice shared garden, where it's possible to have dinner outside.We also really appreciated the private parking in a covered garage. Vila Mila is 3 mins away from the lake and, in the same street, there are two bakeries and restaurants.
The owners are very friendly and available for anything you need

Penzion Berc lovely, warm and cozy. The staff is extremely nice and helpful with everything you might need. The room was clean and tidy, and the coffee machine/kettle was a nice addition. We visited a bit off season, so the place felt very peaceful and private. We were pleasantly surprised by the electric bikes that the guests are free to use, and the complimentary drink was lovely. The breakfast buffet was very rich. Pension Berc is a 3 min walk down to the lake.

Everything was exceptional , from a guy that greeted at the parking lot who had the list of guests that are arriving that day ( every hotel should have that ) , stuff at the reception Anže and Maja , who were very kind and helpful. Room is clean and spacious enough , bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Honestly , if I was going back to Bled I wouldn`t even bother checking any other hotel.

Great location about 10 minute walk to town. Comfy room with beautiful grounds to enjoy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast was delicious! Loved the outdoor amenities- with wine, beer and beverages available at a nominal cost. Enjoyed sitting outside to appreciate the beauty of the scenery and quiet surroundings.

Bled is wonderful, and the walkway around the lake is great.
Bled is wonderful, and the walkway around the lake is great. In December, there are also food and drink stalls available, as well as evening concerts. The food offer is excellent and diverse. I recommend it.

Great place for a Vintgar gorge visit - this beautiful natural spot is really worth a visit. After visiting the gorge you can take a nice hike to Bled lake with its island and castle, the trail is quite easy with many nice views.

Bled is beautiful.
Bled is beautiful. The area around the lake is stunning and the boat trip to the island in a Pletna has to be experienced. We walked up to the castle via the road as the alternate route by steps was too difficult for us. The views were spectacular. We had dinner in the castle restaurant (a 4-course tasting menu) which was absolutely delicious. We took a taxi from our hotel and back as we did not want to walk in the dark. It cost us 20euros each way. There is a little train that you can ride on around the whole lake which gives a good feel for the area. We were staying at the Bled Rose Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis but found a wonderful place to eat, within a 5 minute walk of the hotel, called Art Cafe. Would highly recommend it. There was a very good choice of dishes, the place itself was very clean and the staff friendly and efficient. Thankfully everyone spoke English. If you want to sample the famous Bled Cake then I would suggest you get it from the supermarket (about a 10min walk from the hotel as the crow flies) because it is a third of the price. We bought ours by the lake at a cost of 26euros for 4 pieces whereas the supermarket was less then 5euros for 4. We still enjoyed it though.

Rightly described as “the most relaxing destination in Europe,” with “mirror-still water, a serene alpine setting, and fairytale-like scenery.” The lake, the island, the town itself, the views of the Julian Alps, the proximity to other places, the atmosphere, the culture, the cuisine (and options) all contribute to a holiday experience that is nothing short of magical. We have visited Bled several times and even brought a group of 75 people to Bled. It remains among our favorite places in all of Europe.
