I literally loved everything! The room was extremely cozy and clean, as well as the restaurant, where I drank really good wines. (Next time I'd like to also try the cuisine, the menu was so tempting!) The staff has been really kind and willing. I really felt home and I'm sure that next time I'll be in Bled I'll come to Old Bled House!

Beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view, very nice big room and very nice breakfast. The indoor swimmingpool was great add but what stood up for me most was the kindness of the staff probably the nicest hotel staff I ever met especially the nice lady who came to the station and helped me with my luggage after I arrived big thank you and sorry I forgot your name. Will recommend the hotel to everyone I know it is the best place to relax.

Everything was great ! The hotel is new , decorated in modern style along with the old style . The rooms are big , clean and all our rooms had air condition . The staff was very nice and generous , provided us everything we asked for . Breakfast is great , they made us the eggs as we ordered , coffee supplied all the time . I recommend this place !!

the room was spacious, with a nice balcony and views, comfy beds, a desk which was useful since I had to work a little. It had a fridge, I asked for a kettle which was imediately provided and a TV which I didn't use. Very clean and comfortable in general! Breakfast was very varied and abundant, the service all very friendly at reception, housekeeping, and breakfast. All smiling and ready to answer and help. There's a gym, pool and sauna all well maintained and clean, the common areas are great to spend time reading or enjoying while talking with people you are with. There's a bar area too and some tables outside which I found nice to have some tea with views.

I had an issue with my booking, and it led to me having to rebook. I spoke to the receptionist on arrival and his manner, and his ability to deal calmly and efficiently with the problem changed my negative attitude to the hotel and all that happened into a positive one. He handled it all in an exemplary way. The room I had was small, but it did have a lovely balcony with a partial lake view, and I enjoyed that. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Bled is an expensive place to stay, so I consider it was fairly reasonable value for money though it was expensive.

Wonderful destination in Slovenia. The apartment offers excellent views, comfortable beds, and well-equipped living areas. Delicious breakfasts (fresh croissants were the best) and free parking available directly outside the building. The employees were friendly and supportive. Situated near the city and the lake, the location is great. Drive time to Bled is thirty minutes. Our four-night stay was fantastic.

The breakfast is absolutely outstanding and the hotel is perfectly located on the lake. It is a modern hotel with all the amenities that go with that. You pay for parking but no free parking is to be had anywhere. Parking is at a premium everywhere in Bled.

Bled is wonderful, and the walkway around the lake is great.

Bled is wonderful, and the walkway around the lake is great. In December, there are also food and drink stalls available, as well as evening concerts. The food offer is excellent and diverse. I recommend it.

Wonderful place in December when we visited.

Wonderful place in December when we visited. Walking around Lake Jasna was enjoyable, especially with the fire near the restaurant and Christmas decorations, The town is beautiful and was very active on a Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed Pizza in the old part of town at a local restaurant.

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake...

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and...

Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and stories to hear, also the tunnels built in the 2nd world war. There is beautiful nature in (rivers Kokra and Sava) and around it that you can visit. I was there two years in a row in September and each time we had a shorter option of a guided tour. Only the tunnels were the same, other parts of tour were totally different - in a small city!

Slovenia on the whole is one of the most beautiful countries we have been to. It was very lush and green and has beautiful mountains with little villages tucked away in between. WE love our visit to to Ljubljana, Lake Bled and Postojna caves!! Keeping in mind that this particular hotel location is quite far from the tourist attractions but extremely close to the airport.

Lesce is a local residential village so nothing special is really happening there. It is quite small and very quiet with supermarkets in the vicinities. The best thing about Lesce is it central location to all the major areas around Lake Bled.

Skofija Loka is a stunning medieval town surrounded by beautiful hills, forests and farmland. The castle perched above the town hosts the town museum and is well worth a visit. The old town features lots of beautiful buildings and small squares with cafes and shops. We ate out twice, once in a Balkan food specialist called Das ist Walter and once in a restaurant near Stara Loka called Inglic. Both were excellent and good value for money. The cafe bar Homen in the centre was also very good for cakes and coffee with exceptional, friendly staff. We also enjoyed two long hikes in the surrounding hills. One to Osolnik and one to Planica via Crngrob where there is a stunning church with frescos and impressive alter.

The small village of Mojstrana is at the beginning of the climbing area for Triglav, and the place is amazing—calm and beautiful. Houses and backyards are so clean, and the stream in the center of village is so cute. If you like bike tour there is bike road toward Kranjska Gora.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. If you enjoy walking, it's also ideal. It takes about half an hour to reach Lake Bled and around 40 minutes to get to the Vintgar Gorge. All around are beautiful Slovenian villages.

Bled is beautiful.

Bled is beautiful. The area around the lake is stunning and the boat trip to the island in a Pletna has to be experienced. We walked up to the castle via the road as the alternate route by steps was too difficult for us. The views were spectacular. We had dinner in the castle restaurant (a 4-course tasting menu) which was absolutely delicious. We took a taxi from our hotel and back as we did not want to walk in the dark. It cost us 20euros each way. There is a little train that you can ride on around the whole lake which gives a good feel for the area. We were staying at the Bled Rose Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis but found a wonderful place to eat, within a 5 minute walk of the hotel, called Art Cafe. Would highly recommend it. There was a very good choice of dishes, the place itself was very clean and the staff friendly and efficient. Thankfully everyone spoke English. If you want to sample the famous Bled Cake then I would suggest you get it from the supermarket (about a 10min walk from the hotel as the crow flies) because it is a third of the price. We bought ours by the lake at a cost of 26euros for 4 pieces whereas the supermarket was less then 5euros for 4. We still enjoyed it though.
