Our stay at Bled Rose was nothing short of incredible. Nestled right at the edge of the stunning Lake Bled, this hotel offers a breathtaking view that left us speechless every morning. To our delight, we were upgraded to a superior double room, which featured a spacious balcony with what must be the best view of the lake. The room itself was beautifully decorated, with vibrant and tasteful colors that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail of the decor added to the overall charm of the hotel, making it feel luxurious yet cozy. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality was flawless. We even received water and biscuits for our journey home upon checking out. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—it was just steps away from the lake and close to all the major sights, yet peaceful and serene. It was the ideal place to relax and soak in the natural beauty of Bled. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lake Bled. Was here for one night attending the Art expo. Rooms are very clean well maintained and super comfy bed, bathroom as well,I loved the true mirror soo cool.(will have to find me one like that.) The breakfast was my deal breaker buffet with variety to suit every ones taste. The restautant staff during breakfast big up they moved very swiftly to clear the tables,.Good job keep it up!

the room was spacious, with a nice balcony and views, comfy beds, a desk which was useful since I had to work a little. It had a fridge, I asked for a kettle which was imediately provided and a TV which I didn't use. Very clean and comfortable in general! Breakfast was very varied and abundant, the service all very friendly at reception, housekeeping, and breakfast. All smiling and ready to answer and help. There's a gym, pool and sauna all well maintained and clean, the common areas are great to spend time reading or enjoying while talking with people you are with. There's a bar area too and some tables outside which I found nice to have some tea with views.

Very close to the airport (5min) with a big and free parking. The hotel Restaurant is on the Michelin guide, so you can imagine how good the food is, unfortunately we arrived late after 20h00, and the kitchen closes at 20h00. The breakfast has all the essentials, and the same team of the restaurant bakes all the bread, even baked more white bread just for us, also I had the best scrambled eggs in my life. All the staff was very nice, ! Was nice to see the bathroom with good ammenities, and even body lotion!

The staff were really friendly and accommodating throughout and with our late arrival. It is one of the most scenic places to take your dinner or breakfast. It is ideal to be able to walk out the door of you room and set off on a beautiful walk. The breakfast was generous and tasty as was the dinner.

Bled is wonderful, and the walkway around the lake is great.

Bled is wonderful, and the walkway around the lake is great. In December, there are also food and drink stalls available, as well as evening concerts. The food offer is excellent and diverse. I recommend it.

Wonderful place in December when we visited.

Wonderful place in December when we visited. Walking around Lake Jasna was enjoyable, especially with the fire near the restaurant and Christmas decorations, The town is beautiful and was very active on a Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed Pizza in the old part of town at a local restaurant.

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake...

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and...

Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and stories to hear, also the tunnels built in the 2nd world war. There is beautiful nature in (rivers Kokra and Sava) and around it that you can visit. I was there two years in a row in September and each time we had a shorter option of a guided tour. Only the tunnels were the same, other parts of tour were totally different - in a small city!

Slovenia on the whole is one of the most beautiful countries we have been to. It was very lush and green and has beautiful mountains with little villages tucked away in between. WE love our visit to to Ljubljana, Lake Bled and Postojna caves!! Keeping in mind that this particular hotel location is quite far from the tourist attractions but extremely close to the airport.

Lesce is a local residential village so nothing special is really happening there. It is quite small and very quiet with supermarkets in the vicinities. The best thing about Lesce is it central location to all the major areas around Lake Bled.

Skofija Loka is a stunning medieval town surrounded by...

Skofija Loka is a stunning medieval town surrounded by beautiful hills, forests and farmland. The castle perched above the town hosts the town museum and is well worth a visit. The old town features lots of beautiful buildings and small squares with cafes and shops. We ate out twice, once in a Balkan food specialist called Das ist Walter and once in a restaurant near Stara Loka called Inglic. Both were excellent and good value for money. The cafe bar Homen in the centre was also very good for cakes and coffee with exceptional, friendly staff. We also enjoyed two long hikes in the surrounding hills. One to Osolnik and one to Planica via Crngrob where there is a stunning church with frescos and impressive alter.

The small village of Mojstrana is at the beginning of the climbing area for Triglav, and the place is amazing—calm and beautiful. Houses and backyards are so clean, and the stream in the center of village is so cute. If you like bike tour there is bike road toward Kranjska Gora.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. If you enjoy walking, it's also ideal. It takes about half an hour to reach Lake Bled and around 40 minutes to get to the Vintgar Gorge. All around are beautiful Slovenian villages.

Rateče is a small village in the northwest corner of Slovenia, literally a few hundred meters from the Italian border. The tourist resort of Kranjska Gora is located 6 km to the east, and the Slovenian Alpine Museum in Mojstrana 20 km to the east. Very scenic Fusina lakes are 8 km to the west. The interesting little town of Tarvisio is also nearby in Italy. The area offers nice hiking and cycling possibilities, exploring the 19th and early 20th century military fortresses, and also exploring the interesting small baroque churches. Walks in the surroundings of Rateče are fantastically tranquil and relaxing. The area also offers some nice restaurants with traditional food, as well as very tasteful cheeses!
