The property, staff and location were all exceptional. Every part of the property was clean, beautiful and inviting. Our dog was treated with respect everywhere in the hotel. The breakfast was exceptional and the dinner on our last night was memorable. The food was great but our server made the evening memorable. We look forward to returning soon.

A beautiful hotel, and the owners and the owner's friend who welcomed us were super nice, courteous, and helpful. The hotel is an eco hotel, has a very nice little spa, and smells wonderful everywhere. The breakfast is small but nice. You have everything you need. There could perhaps be a larger selection of muesli and bacon instead of the small sausages, but the owners made everything themselves. The scrambled eggs were so tasty. Our room was super clean, nicely furnished, and smelled wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony (at the back) was also nice. On the river side. The only thing that would have been nice would have been a smart TV on which you could watch Netflix and the so on. We loved it and will definitely be back!

This is an amazing hotel, rich in history and beautifully appointed. Dinner in the Bistro was delicious , as was the breakfast. The Wellness area was fantastic too. Malborghetto is a pretty little village and the scenery absolutely magnificent. We will definitely come back

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Julian Alps. Everything is perfect: from breakfast, plenty of house made options and fresh products - to dinner, with a fixed course menu which was amazing and fairly priced. The rooms are comfortable, modern and cozy. We slept soundly. Staff is friendly, nice and well prepared to host guests in the best possible way. Location is wonderful, 5km from Bled, away from traffic and people and close to amazing experiences - we walked to the Vintgar Gorje directly from the Hotel and we went to climb Viševnik with a 20min trip by car. The hotel has also e-bikes for you and there are tons of cycling paths that you can do from the place. I would absolutely advice to book your stay here.

incredible property & staff! we came here for our honey moon and it did not disappoint! once in a lifetime location with the most attentive and welcoming staff! they arranged everything for us from electric bikes to dinner reservations. The breakfast & coffee is fantastic too! 10/10

It's the first stop of our month-long holiday in Slovenia. And first the best, we enjoyed this excellent hotel! Everyone working here is extremely kind, helpful and professional: they have deep knowledge about the region and the country: tourist attractions, food and wine ect. We have an upgraded room which is spacy and very comfortable, yet quiet at an exclusive location. The small and boutique hotel own as well a Michelin restaurant, while their passion at quality food is also shared on breakfast table. The nearby town of Radovljica offers interesting tourist attractions and outstanding restaurants, while very close to Bled but away from the noisy and busy tourists. All in all, thank Vila Podvin for your excellent service!

the room was spacious, with a nice balcony and views, comfy beds, a desk which was useful since I had to work a little. It had a fridge, I asked for a kettle which was imediately provided and a TV which I didn't use. Very clean and comfortable in general! Breakfast was very varied and abundant, the service all very friendly at reception, housekeeping, and breakfast. All smiling and ready to answer and help. There's a gym, pool and sauna all well maintained and clean, the common areas are great to spend time reading or enjoying while talking with people you are with. There's a bar area too and some tables outside which I found nice to have some tea with views.

We booked the most basic room type and it was much more spacious and equipped than expected, and very silent (no noise from the corridor or other rooms). We felt very comfortable. The staff at the reception was polite and helpful. Breakfast was buffet with plenty of options, including some local produce. We didn’t go to the Aquapark (too tired) but we would consider coming back and using it!

Camp is really very nice and stylish, located in a beautiful place next to the gorgeous river Soča. Lovely and cozy cottages and also other facilities of the resort (kitchen, bathrooms etc.) are comfortable, well-equipped and absolutely clean! :) Staff was very kind and helpful. It was wonderful stay here, we were very satisfied and we hope we will come back some holidays in the future.

The place was nice, cozy and clean. The room was very spacious with a kitchenette, a sofa, a dining table and a balcony. The breakfast was of high quality and had excellent variety. The staff was welcoming and we were able to leave some of the luggage there until we returned from the mountains.

Great location, wonderful staff always smiling. Bartender Kenan entertained us every night at the bar. The hotel met my expectations for the price, even more. Spa with a small surcharge, but worth a visit. Parking is free for hotel guests. I would like to visit it again.

Bled is wonderful, and the walkway around the lake is great.

Bled is wonderful, and the walkway around the lake is great. In December, there are also food and drink stalls available, as well as evening concerts. The food offer is excellent and diverse. I recommend it.

Wonderful place in December when we visited.

Wonderful place in December when we visited. Walking around Lake Jasna was enjoyable, especially with the fire near the restaurant and Christmas decorations, The town is beautiful and was very active on a Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed Pizza in the old part of town at a local restaurant.

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake...

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

Tarvisio is a hidden gem, where you can ski, hike and have a great time with family and friends. Everyone is friendly and inviting. We went specifically to see the Krampus Parade and for a day of skiing and exploring of the town and region. The trip didn't disappoint. We would love to come back for New Years but availability of accommodation prevents us from doing so. BUT we will be back for next year's Krampus.

Lesce is a local residential village so nothing special is really happening there. It is quite small and very quiet with supermarkets in the vicinities. The best thing about Lesce is it central location to all the major areas around Lake Bled.

The small village of Mojstrana is at the beginning of the climbing area for Triglav, and the place is amazing—calm and beautiful. Houses and backyards are so clean, and the stream in the center of village is so cute. If you like bike tour there is bike road toward Kranjska Gora.

Gemona del Friuli is a gem between the mountains and the river Tagliamento. It's a great location for lovers of hiking, biking, paragliding and other sports. I spend time in Gemona every time I come back to Italy. It's one of my favorite spots in the Alps. The people are friendly and happy.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. If you enjoy walking, it's also ideal. It takes about half an hour to reach Lake Bled and around 40 minutes to get to the Vintgar Gorge. All around are beautiful Slovenian villages.

Short drive to Nadiža river which is also beautiful. Kozjak waterfall and hanging bridges are obligatory to visit.

Bled is beautiful.

Bled is beautiful. The area around the lake is stunning and the boat trip to the island in a Pletna has to be experienced. We walked up to the castle via the road as the alternate route by steps was too difficult for us. The views were spectacular. We had dinner in the castle restaurant (a 4-course tasting menu) which was absolutely delicious. We took a taxi from our hotel and back as we did not want to walk in the dark. It cost us 20euros each way. There is a little train that you can ride on around the whole lake which gives a good feel for the area. We were staying at the Bled Rose Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis but found a wonderful place to eat, within a 5 minute walk of the hotel, called Art Cafe. Would highly recommend it. There was a very good choice of dishes, the place itself was very clean and the staff friendly and efficient. Thankfully everyone spoke English. If you want to sample the famous Bled Cake then I would suggest you get it from the supermarket (about a 10min walk from the hotel as the crow flies) because it is a third of the price. We bought ours by the lake at a cost of 26euros for 4 pieces whereas the supermarket was less then 5euros for 4. We still enjoyed it though.
