From the very first moment, we were impressed by the attention to detail—both inside the guesthouse and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Nestled near the forest, wooden figurines placed at the edge create a magical story, inviting children to explore and let their imagination roam.
Our hosts were extremely kind, always attentive to guests’ needs, and their hospitality made every moment special. The food was delicious, prepared with local ingredients, turning each meal into a true journey through the region’s authentic flavors.
Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And the view from the garden toward the mountains was truly breathtaking—a perfect place for relaxation and contemplation.
Additionally, the guesthouse provides a children’s play area, and even an outdoor fireplace.
The location is ideal for exploring Logarska Dolina Park, and the proximity to attractions such as Kapela Kristusa Kralja and Sveti Duh added even more charm to our stay.
We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an oasis of tranquility, comfort, and authenticity in the heart of Slovenia..

The hotel has a family atmosphere and the staff is lovely. They speak English and Helena also in Spanish. The staff is great, room clean, beds comfortable (one comment though about pillows - too soft but not a real problem), the food is very good and the vibe is cosy and relaxing :) We had the possibility to rent bikes (normal or electrical) and there is also a EV charging station at the location (which was a blessing for us traveling with an EV car). The location is pet friendly and we had a good stay with our dog :). Trips are at hand from the location: a circuit of the Logar Valley (around 3-4h walking or less with the bikes), some beautiful waterfalls and the teal colour of the rivers always along your path. The house is in a perfect location, there's no traffic, there's almost no tourism around, no crowds, no noise. We wanted to relax and disconnect from the everydays and the pressure of the ever-flowing news and information, and we could exactly do that here - no cell phone reception, no internet, just nature, birdsong and fresh air. The apartment itself is very pretty, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all that is needed for simple cooking. The views from the windows are lovely. An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi.
