Beautiful environment with superb views over the river from our room. Food good and service efficient and friendly. My husbands birthday was during our stay and I arranged for a cake as a surprise. A large ice cream gateau with sparklers was presented with singing and dancing from the staff which was fabulous.

We stayed at Toubacouta Lodge 4 nights insted of 3 because we loved the site, the swimming pool and its breathingless view, the food and the excursions we did on the delta river and the Fathala Reserve safari.Thank you to Ibou and his team. Lovely place, very clean and tidy, pool was perfect. The best part about the stay was the hosts as they were so helpful the whole time and made sure we were always happy and sorted when it came to trips.

The place was comfortable with a beautiful pool area. The staff and the owner are super friendly and helpful. The location is great as well, the village is quite small but packed with beautiful places and beautiful. I recommend this place especially if your budget is a bit tight, because it has a great value for money.

We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!

Absolutely immersive in wild life, way away from the common, prices surprisingly reasonable considering the distance from Dakar. I doubted very much if it was worth traveling that far, arriving from Saly and Dakar, but after being there, my joy compensated it all

Las Barracudas is one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed in. We loved the location. It has a really calming vibe. The staff is absolutely friendly and helped us in every aspect we we needed a helping hand.
