The hotel feels fresh and new, with spacious, very clean rooms. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the TV included Netflix. The mattress was extremely comfortable with good-quality linens, and there was plenty of storage for clothes. The room also had a dining table and chairs, which was a nice touch, and breakfast was delivered to the room each morning. The bathroom, while spotless and well-equipped with hot water, good pressure, fluffy towels, and a heated mirror, felt a bit small compared to the size of the bedroom. Service was friendly and accommodating — we don’t speak Spanish, but they were happy to communicate using Google Translate and gestures. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our 3-night stay, but I’m sure if we had requested it, they would have done so. They also allowed us to use the fridge and provided boiling water on request. The location is excellent, just one block from the town square, surrounded by shops and restaurants. I recommend visiting on a weekend to enjoy the lively markets here and in nearby Alegría, which is just a short and inexpensive bus ride away.

Perfect location, with exceptional views of the water. Pool and outdoor area were as pictured and of great use. The owners were very communicative and helpful with local recommendations for our surf trip. Photos were an exact match of property.

We loved the room: spacious and clean! The staff was kind and friendly. THE LOCATION has an incomparable view!!!The pool is beautiful, the “hamacas around the stunning dining area. We arrived at night and relaxed in the swimming pool. In the morning we were amazed by the stunning view of the coast from the hotel. It was “picture perfect”! We loved this place and will come back again next year.

Personally I found this property to be excellent. Firstly the road to it. I didn't really know what to expect but I didn't find any real issue with it. Would I drive a Ferrari down it, maybe not or if I did I'd maybe do it at 10 kmph, in my Kia Picanto I was able to mostly stick to the speed limit of 20 kmph. I found every member of staff to be delightful, friendly and helpful. I found the accommodation to be lovely about a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk from the reception, restaurant, pool etc I found the meals and drinks to be lovely and a nice choice. They will even deliver to your accommodation if you chose. The pool I had completely to myself apart from the birds and passing Iguanas. The tour to the monkey sanctuary, to start with I was a little disappointed that I was told I needed to go with a guide. However if I hadn't I would more than likely have got lost or maybe attacked by quite a large croc that was pointed out to me by my lovely guide. The monkeys were obviously an absolute delight but so was the interaction between them and my guide. He must do that so often but he seemed to be enjoying their company as much as I did. They are definitely living wild but very friendly. I can't really think of anything else, all in all I thought it was excellent and a beautiful experience. Thank you

The beds were super comfy and it was nice to have a big TV in the room with Netflix, so you can properly 'Netflix & Chill'. The shower in the shared bathroom was good and had warm water. Also, we were able to park the motorcycles.

We went there because it's the Bitcoin City.

We went there because it's the Bitcoin City. It has a nice climate, as it is not as hot there as in the lowlands. The views from the town can be spectacular. The local people we met there, including the police, were all very nice and made us feel very welcome. There are plenty of places where you can get a decent food for a good price, although don't expect an international cuisine. The biggest problem for us was that the water was scarce as the town does not seem to have any water system and it needs to be delivered in tanks. Also we did not mind all the homeless dogs wondering around the streets, but all the time we had to be careful while walking to not step into a dog poo.

Berlín is a wonder.

Berlín is a wonder. A Salvadoran mountain town that is rapidly adopting Bitcoin as its standard currency. The amazing people at the Bitcoin centre there are doing great things and the town will definitely prosper from these choices. It's a nice reprieve to be up in the crisp mountain air away from the thick air and humidity of the lower parts of the country. Everyone we met was friendly, and the fresh fruits we bought from a street vendor were the freshest and tastiest we've ever had.

I was in Alegria and I'm not sure if its a normal thing but there were loads of street food stands and mariachi players when I was there, which was really good. The frozen banana covered in chocolate, so good.
