An amazing stay at this wonderful hotel. Starting from the team at the lobby, so professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms were amazing, very spacious,clean and comfortable. A special thank you to Vicky at the restaurant, she was so nice, professional and helpful during our lunch,dinner and breakfast. I will never forget the gift she made for me and my wife for our wedding. We can see that she like her job so much. It‘s always a pleasure to see workers like Vicky which made our stay even better. The food was amazing, a lot of choice for thai and western food. I will definitely go back to Melia if I plan a trip back to Chiang Mai.

All staffs are kind and friendly, got excellent service always. Our room was clean and comfort, there was lovely bathtub which we expected!! We ordered a floating breakfast next morning as additional charge, was so cute and could enjoy the silent atmosphere at pool side.(nobody in the pool at the time) This breakfast is available 8-10:30 am and book when you check-in.

The staff were excellent and genuinely try their best to make sure we had a good time. Any issues they will immediately come to help us and very helpful from the moment we arrive to the hotel. Location is close to central, the hotel also has transfers at 6pm free of charge for residents to popular locations based on the day. Breakfast is excellent, they even provide a service making fresh omlette or fried egg and bake fresh roti in the morning in addition to an international cuisine. I am very happy with our stay.

I spent an amazing week at CREW Hotel and every aspect exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, attentive and genuinely eager to help; nothing was ever too much trouble. As someone who works on the road, the dedicated coworking space with lightning-fast fiber-optic internet was a game changer. Having unlimited hot drinks, fresh fruit and chilled water on hand meant I could stay productive (and hydrated) without leaving the hotel. Every morning started on a high note with an exceptional breakfast, freshly prepared and varied each day; it quickly became one of the highlights of my stay. After work, the serene indoor pool became my go-to spot to unwind. Despite being in the heart of Chiang Mai, the property is remarkably quiet; I slept like a dream thanks to the plush mattress and high-quality linens. The bathroom deserves a special mention too; the powerful rainfall shower felt like a daily spa treatment. Location wise, you are within easy walking or short Grab ride distance of cafés, markets, temples and the Old City, and you still return to a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. In short, CREW Hotel delivers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience and genuine hospitality. I would not hesitate to book again and highly recommend it to anyone, especially fellow remote workers looking for a hassle-free, inspiring place to stay.

Beautiful resort in mountain setting. Most of all, great service; everyone was very helpful and kind. Loved the breakfast and food at the "Higher Room." Chiang Mai is the capital of north Thailand and worth a visit of a couple of weeks. Less hot and humid than Bangkok. Also calmer and friendlier. Avoid in the smoky season (April and May) when the area farmers burn off stuff they don’t like and create horrendous smog for everyone. Once the monsoon starts that goes away. Red trucks are good for getting around but you need to understand how they work. Good veggie restaurant on Monmong north of tapae gate.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping in Chiang Mai, and I can confidently say it was one of the most incredible hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. Every request we made was met with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, which made our stay even more special. The glamping site itself is immaculately maintained, with cleanliness being a top priority. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall 24/7, it truly felt like we were immersed in nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with the serene beauty of the outdoors. One of the most magical moments was at night—around 11 PM onwards, the sky came alive with countless stars, offering an awe-inspiring view you rarely get to experience in the city. If you’re looking for a solid glamping experience with unparalleled hospitality, breathtaking natural surroundings, and starry skies, Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping is the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet enriching escape. Thank you to the entire team for making this a stay to remember!

Challenging to get there if you don't have your own transport, but you can order a taxi. Beautiful views and a small "town" where you can walk around, buy anything you need and good restaurants.

Chom Tong is a small town about 1.5 hour from Chiang Mai. Travellers use it as the base to explore Doi Inthanon. There is a decent choice of F&B establishments, supermarket, cinema, etc. Best explored if you have transport (rental car or taxi service which can be booked by the day)

Mae Chaem is an amazing little village with great air quality, which is a rare thing in Thailand. With lots of greenery and nature trails, you'll never get bored in this place. Food is also cheap and tasty. The people are nice and always smiling. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nature retreat.

We celebrated our anniversary on the mountainside, and it was such a memorable experience. The host was incredibly kind and even surprised us with roses, which made the stay extra special 🌹 The room was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. We had the mookata for dinner, which was absolutely delicious and perfect for the cool mountain atmosphere. We did encounter a small issue with the bathtub, but the team responded quickly and fixed it right away great service and responsiveness. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with excellent hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill and relaxing homestay in the mountains. You won’t be disappointed!

The kindness and helpfulness of our hosts made for an...

The kindness and helpfulness of our hosts made for an excellent stay. The free bikes loan gave us independence. The Fang Hot Springs a couple of kilometres away was fun and convenient. The surrounding scenery of onion fields was very pleasant. We saw many interesting birds including the siting of an Asian Barred Owlet at our breakfast location which completed the enjoyment of our stay.

People are very friendly.

People are very friendly. Although the city is busy we found the traffic easy to navigate and drivers stopped to let pedestrians cross the road. Beautiful places to visit. Loved the waterfalls and elephant care facilities. Food was amazing and so were the massages.

Welcoming little town well worth visiting.

Welcoming little town well worth visiting. The temple and the caves are great but the best thing for me was that I stumbled into a bar up near the cave which is called . . The Cave bar. This place has to be visited if at all possible. Wonderful hostess and a really chilled, funky vibe.
