If you choose facilities in this area of Khao Lak, we have to take into consideration that evening venue are limited; in this place you have to Mini markets and 3 small restaurants outside and on the beach there are some restaurants too. Party = 0. Beaches in Kl are for sure one of the best in thailand. The rooms are very nice, I suggest to take a room with pool if you are with friends or family; the Ressort is new and staff is very friendly and for sure there English is far better than in other places

It was an amazing place to stay, beautiful rooms, great location and wonderful staff. We also had the added bonus that we could use the facilities from the Sands by Katathani. The staff would even drop us via golf cart up at the main road to get dinner/shop!

By far my best stay in Thailand, the couple that runs it are both adorable and went above and beyond to make my stay amazing ! I even booked an extra night because I loved it so much. The room is incredibly spacious and bright, everything is SPOTLESS !!! The bathroom is big, the hot water is nice and regular and not a single sign of mold anywhere (which in my experience is rare in Thailand). The bed is comfortable and the ac is nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious! Great view from the balcony where I admired a nice sunset. The cleaning lady is also very friendly even going as to arrange the toiletries I left on the counter. Great location just off the main road so quiet but still close enough to make getting around super easy. Close to a 7-11 for some midnight snacks ;)

Clean spacious room, tasty breakfast! The staff is amazing. They arranged for us trips to Surin and Similan islands. Furthemore, they booked a van to our next destination. They even took us to a restaurant by a privat van. What kind of services! I highly recommed to stay there.

This has to be the best place we have ever stayed. The whole place is absolutely beautiful, so private and everything is finished to the most exceptional standard. There is so much thought put into every single element of the stay making it so special. We barely left the property we were so happy just spending time in the room and by the pool. The staff were incredible as well - honestly cannot say enough good things about this place.

    The hotel is well equipped, relaxing design in natural materials. It is located away from noise and is full of well planted greenery. We have chosen it for its design and location and the hotel was totally up to our expectations. The food was great. Many thanks to the cooks' skills. Loved it. The staff was freindly and helpful. The issue with hot water in the first day was fixed very quickly, once and for all. We loved the bath on the balcony and used it for evening relaxation. The hotel application that we were asked to install upon arrival was useful for in-room food and announcements. The swimming pool was warm and had plenty of space for everbody. Every morning we went to the hotel's private beach to bath, walk and have some sun tan. It's tidy and has a small bar. There are tiny shops nearby to get alcohol at a cheaper price, some snacks and necessities. The card didn"t always work in this shops so had to pay cash. Shuttle bus to the nearest market was a good idea. We would be glad to come baxk some day.

    Great staff, good to great breakfasts, with enough food assortment to satisfy the kids. Bicycles for free to move around, shuttles to Khao Lak from 10.00 to 16.00 and back from 10.30 to 16.30. Pools and a mini aquapark across the premises to enjoy when the sea is too wavy. No limitations on what you can bring and consume in terms of food/beverages. A good example of staff/management kindness was a case where both shuttle buses for 11.00 were full booked, yet I was granted a shuttle to buy some mangosteens and beers at our last day. Basically, no complaints about the staff, food (breakfasts only since the low season), or spirit of the place - reasonable, clean, comfortable, kind, safe, calm. Recommended for fams with kids.

    Spectacular place with great facilities and amenities. Starting with the breakfast which will satisfy anyone is nothing short of a 5 star city hotel. The pool is great and I loved the slides and jacuzzi functions - super fun to explore. the location is right next to the surf spot where my gf surfed day in and day out so it was great to come back to a fantastic hotel. Special mention to the pizza restaurant as I am a big fan of La Peppina in Bangkok and the restaurant has the same stone pizza oven from Naples!

    The room we stayed in was out of this world our little bit of luxury, situated perfectly for our trip to Khao lak. Right on the beach and walking distance to the food market and restaurants. Hotel couldn’t do enough for us, even when we checked out we left our luggage there overnight while we went on an overnight trip and returned the following evening to our next destination.

    It was a very pleasant stay, the breakfast buffet is great and versatile. The hotel is located right on the beach, which is clean, big and not crowded at all. Nearby there’s a restaurant with great food and affordable prices. The pool is great, they also have ping pong, billiards, bikes for rent (free) and a gym, so you definitely won’t get bored.

    The hotel is perfect for a quit vacation. In the hotel's street there are some restaurants, shops and pharmacies. They work until very late at night. The room was very nice, access to one of the pools. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed the room and the facilities but not enough. That's a good reason to come back again soon!

    Not as busy as Phuket, less people but lots of restaurants with reasonable prices. Very family orientated, no night clubs & pole dancing girly bars. Khao Lak is what Phuket was 30 years ago but is becoming more popular.

    We love khao lak as its a lovely town as it suits our need for relaxation, great food and its not hectic . If you're after entertainment and the business if a city, then it's not the place for you
