I enjoyed my stay very much with Olivier and his lovely wife. The breakfast is a must, it is very healthy and super tasty, and one of the best coffees on the island. Overall one of the best locations, to the beach is only 300 meter and the 7 Eleven and bars are just some minutes by foot. The rooms were super clean and had everything the traveller desires, also good for families, I felt super safe there with Olivier and his staff.

We had a marvelous stay of 6 nights in this hotel. We picked the Sea view room, and it was just superb. The room was big, clean, and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was amazing, everyone will find his taste in the large choice they offer : Thai dishes, western dishes, Soups, fruits, freshly prepared mowed fruits salad. Perfect to start the day, especially because the breakfast area is outdoor, with a roof though, with a view on the sea. The location of the hotel itself is very well : at the beach front, quiet area, and at a 3min walking distance from the main road where you will find a variety of restaurants, tour operators today organize your snorkeling trips, laundry service, and our truly beloved 7-11 supermarket of course! The staff was lovely, taking care good care of us and always smiling. Every evening, the narrow beach of the hotel is used to set tables for dinner. It's pretty, romantic, and you can order either some food from their menu, or fresh seafood or meat BBQ, or even Mukata! The prices are obviously higher than when you eat in a restaurant on the main street, but it's normal and not too overpriced though. It worth it. The pool is clean, the water is at a good temperature, and you can see the sea while swimming.

The hotel is very suitable for families, especially children, because there are many attractions to keep children entertained. Instead for adults it is a very relaxing place having the Spa and with different delicacies of choice on food and drinks. You are welcomed by the staff with kindness and professionalism from the beginning to the end of your stay at the hotel. One thing I really liked from the staff was the immediate help towards my son because he felt ill from the beginning of his stay for three days. It was a fundamental help, because not knowing how to proceed, they helped me with everything, especially I thank one of them at the Reception with my heart.

Great location on the beach. We had a beach villa and a pool villa. Big rooms that easily can fit 4 people. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant on the beach was just amazing. Great staff, and even if it was a bit more expensive than restaurant on the main Street, we still ate there some days. It was because of the people who worked in the restaurant, we decided to book at the hotel. We stayed a night at the Centara next door, but Barali was just so much better, and I will stay here if I come back to Koh Chang

our 2nd time here, and no regrets that we split our stay on koh Chang to enable us to again spend a few nights here. Our beachfront bungalow was really nice, with trees covering it. The low balcony is almost on the beach. Lovely to chill there with a book if you don't want to be in the sun. Even though it's a rocky beach in front of accommodation, some rocks have been moved to make a narrow pathway into the ocean. So rocky beach really does not matter. The restaurant serves nice food too.

Everything! We stayed in a Paradise villa and can’t wait to return. We loved it so much we extended our stay. Our villa 5108 was towards the end of the resort and just steps away from the beautiful beach. The breakfast selection was fantastic - can recommend the Eggs Benedict, beautifully presented too and the smoothies.

Lovely resort and well run. The entrance drive lets it down, but once you arrive, it's very nice, clean, and well run. I got bitten to pieces from mosquitoes even in the room, so make sure you have good quality repellent and take a good anti itching cream as you will need it. Very good resort if you can get a good rate.

Beautiful setting on the estuary - quiet and charming hotel. We had a superior deluxe room overlooking pool, which was extremely spacious. The hotel exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it. Also, my daughter forgot her phone and the staff were very helpful in sending it on to our next hotel.

A really quiet secluded spot with a shallow beach that when the tide is out you can walk to an island. The staff here were amazing and made every effort to make the stay memorable. All round a great experience. Also being pet friendly was a big bonus.

Ko chang is a hidden jewel, lots to do and see with other amazing islands to visit. Worth 4 nights stay on anyones itenary. Good viewpoints beaches and bars, much more laid back than pattaya but still things to do. We ve enjoyed the island and would come again

A wonderful stretch of beach, one of the nicest on Koh Chang to be fair. Nice and clean, quiet and peaceful. I stayed a 5 min bike ride away at the reggae place. I ate at the wonderful little shack just on the bend as you reach the beach, a mother and daughter making great som tam, Laab, Nam Tok, iced coffee etc

Ko Chang has no real central beach and on those beaches, there is no real central area; it's a bunch of hotel along the road. Nothing like Koh Samui. The beaches are very far apart and Lonely Beach is pretty run down, so choose wisely.

We hired bicycles for 100 baht near Centara and we could cycle to the waterfall and to visit some other beaches. It is not cheap to get around, 6km was 150 each so 300 baht for 2. We stayed at Bailan beach hotel which was nice and small and intimate with a few other restaurants nearby. We walked about 1km north and south of Bailan beach but the roads are not so safe for walking there. Near Centara the roads are wider with a cycle path.
