This place is absolutely worth a visit! Hotel A great room with an unusual and very beautiful view, especially in the evening when the lights come on. You have everything you need and even more — for example, a beach bag with towels, mini fans, and daily restocked snacks and drinks. Team A special shoutout to Banana and her team — you really feel like the most welcome guest in the world, and they are ready to help with anything you need. They can organize transfers, massages, and keep your room perfectly clean. Location The hotel is in a small village with what we think is one of the best beaches. It’s just a 5-minute walk away, with delicious Thai restaurants just as close, and a 7-Eleven only a couple of minutes from the hotel. And if you ever feel like exploring, you can always rent a scooter and go discover the island. We strongly recommend this place and hope to come back again!

Amazing hotel. 5/5. Everything was spotless and tidy. They had a lovely outdoor pool aswell as a nice place to relax in the sun. The staff were really friendly and super helpful. The staff here are super friendly and always happy to help with anything! They really went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay, teaching me a bit of the local language, booking taxis, and checking in to see if I was doing okay. We loved the stay - we booked deluxe room, its by the pool and on the beach. Staff was very kind and helpful all the time, even before we arrived, nonstop available on whatsapp. Breakfasts were excellent, even after a week we were not bored from the offer, which included lots of salads, fruits, thai food etc. Everything was clean - rooms, pool area, beach… In the room you get daily water and there is a coffee capsule machine. Prices in the bar and restaurant are little bit overpriced, but you have endless options to eat in the area as well. The only annoying thing (and its not technically hotel issue) were groups of Israeli people, who were very loud and had no manners, acting like it’s their private party.

Seetanu is a little paradise. We had a bungalow on the beach and it was absolutely stunnjng. It is a quiet beach and it has a peaceful vibe. the room looked like it was just renovated and the bed was good! The staff was very friendly and it has a good restaurant. I would defenitly recommemd it.

I loved my little bungalow with the hammock outside. The restaurant and pool had a good vibe and view. The beach below the hotel was a nice quiet hangout with a good mix of tourists and expats. Amazing cafe up the road for breakfast with the best view.

Haad Rin is a beautiful beach with plenty of bars and...

Haad Rin is a beautiful beach with plenty of bars and restaurants lining the shore and lots of shops, restaurants around the strip. During Full Moon week, the atmosphere gets wild—every venue competes with fire shows and loud music, creating a chaotic but energetic vibe. I imagine the off-season must be much more relaxing, though I haven’t experienced it myself. Personally, I found the Full Moon Party a bit disappointing, though that might be due to my expectations. I'm 40+, and I was hoping for a more organized event with better music and a diverse crowd—people of all ages from different parts of the world. Instead, it felt more like a chaotic gathering of mostly very young partygoers (early 20s), primarily from England, Germany, and Denmark, whose main focus seemed to be drinking and drugs. In November 2025, the original party was canceled due to the passing of the King’s mother, so I can’t speak to the usual experience.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

The night life - bars, cafés, markets, and I enjoyed getting a massage after all the walking around. There are many massage parlors and massages are so affordable here. Also, the service at the massage parlors is very good.

Amazing place on the island.

Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

It feels mostly private and is surrounded by resorts. The beach is beautiful, shallow waters, a nearby reef, plenty of fish to spot while swimming or snorkeling. It completely changes from low tide (early morning) through high tide (from 11 to 5pm). During high tide, there’s not much sand left, but the resort’s sunbeds are perfectly positioned for relaxing just in front of the beach. Nice sunset views too (not directly but close)

Lovely area on Koh Phangan.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.

Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

Location - it was like a dream.

Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

My Wife Georgie & I just finished our wonderful 7 day stay at Kupu Kupu villas, I can honestly say hand on heart that was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had (and we have stayed at a lot of nice places) The setting is beautiful, tranquil and absolutely perfect for relaxing. Positioned perfectly with a semi private beach & shallow waters which are serene & very warm. The rooms & amenities are all fantastic, incredibly clean, spacious and beautifully designed. The food was exceptional as was the service all round. And the staff were all incredibly friendly and went out of there way to look after us across the week. We would like to give special mention to San, Bank and especially Admin who was absolutely incredible with us all week, we felt incredibly well looked after and were made to feel the personal touch of spectacular service. One of the most special aspects of the hotel is it feels so incredibly private, every villa was booked up whilst we were there, but the pool and sun loungers were never overused which created a very private & relaxing setting. We will 100% be coming back to stay here, I have already recommended to multiple friends! Thank you
