I took the studio room which was a bit more expensive, but was worth every penny. The room is a suite with a beautiful balcony done with lots of attention to detail and comfort. Staff was super helpful and Mike (not sure what his Thai name is), arranged everything I needed (scooter, ferry tickets etc). It is great feeling when a room exceeds expectations

Review of Koh Tao Cabana Resort Koh Tao Cabana is a larger resort that absolutely deserves a higher rating than just three stars. It is located at the end of Sairee Beach. The bungalows are set on a hillside—some offer stunning sea views, while others are surrounded by a beautiful garden. The resort has a nice pool, and on the beach, there are cushioned cabanas where the staff constantly ensures fresh towels and guest comfort. The breakfast is abundant—perhaps with slightly less fruit but plenty of other options, including warm Thai dishes. You can order omelets, burgers, pancakes… They even prepare delicious satay every morning. A truly luxurious breakfast. In my opinion, the resort's restaurant is the best on this beach. It may be slightly more expensive, but it’s well worth it—not only for the deliciously prepared food but also for the breathtaking view. Just 10 minutes away is Nang Yuan Island, which is definitely worth visiting. A boat from the resort takes you there for 400 THB round trip. Our villa was the Terra Patio Villa. Unfortunately, it didn’t have a sea view and required some walking and stairs to reach the beach. However, it had a lovely covered terrace in the middle of the forest, complete with a cooling fan. The villa itself is spacious but has a slightly awkward layout—the toilet and bathroom are located between the living area and the bedroom. The bed is large and very comfortable. The villa is also well-equipped: two refrigerators (always stocked with water and soft drinks), two TVs, snacks like chips and cookies, as well as umbrellas, a flashlight, rain ponchos, and more. It offers real comfort.

We loved our stay at Sairee Hut. Great location, lovely pool with a beach view, very nice breakfast at the beachfront restaurant. We had a poolside room which was upstairs above the restaurant. It was spacious with a very large private outdoor area. We appreciated the free transfer to and from the ferry terminal. Cute, buzzy little village with lots of shops (especially dive shops) and a great variety of eating places. Rubbish is an ongoing problem on Sairee Beach. Most places clean up the beach in front daily, including Sairee Hut. We saw school groups doing cleanups and volunteering tourists helping. A lot of education being promoted also. But the next tide just brings more rubbish...

very nice location on the hill with incredible views and a very quiet environment yet 10’ walking distance from Sairee Beach. lovely bungalows with private terrace and plenty of space in the room. extremely friendly and helpful staff who take care of you like a family member. nice pool with views over the jungle. very convenient shuttle service to and from the hotel. Also, I would like to mention Palm, the Front Office manager, together with her team they really do an amazing job and I would like to thank them once again for their hospitality. I felt so good in this hotel that I extended my stay with 2 more nights (for a total of 4 nights on the island).

We came here to have a relaxing week during National Week in...

We came here to have a relaxing week during National Week in October. My husband and daughter had some of the best scuba diving experiences and they would definitely love to go back and do more dives (yet there are so many other places to go and see....). We stayed in the southeast for the first part of the trip, and found that to be a bit secluded - great resort, but a little too isolated and cut off for us overall. The second half we stayed in Sairee Beach area and it was amazing! So much going on and great restaurants and sunset views at your fingertips. We had wanted to rent scooters to explore the island more, but after seeing the condition of the roads (very steep and sharp turns), and so many people with "Thailand tattoos" from road rash, we decided against it, so we didn't get to see as much as we'd hoped. Maybe next time....

Excellent town and beaches stunning view's from my hotel right in beach , golden sands lots bars and restaurants available on beach and in town , excellent ferry service and transfer to hotel lots beach activities available crystal clear waters wonderful food in town excellent shopping mall and night market, great place to enjoy for all family very safe place highly recommended visiting recommended use the ferry service for all your transfer they very well organised and peace of mind
