- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 348 reviewsThey have Laser and Hobie cat sailing boats to rent! Beautiful little spots (hammocks, sun loungers, big rocks to sit on, etc.) that enabled a very relaxing way to hang out watching the sailboats and sunsets. Excellent value for money especially when you factor in the complimentary breakfast and free taxi shuttle to the Ao Nid (Boonsiri) pier. But excellent value for money just based on the bungalow and property too. Super unique and enjoyable pool. Just wish the pool was open later to cool off in after dinner (they currently close to pool at 6 pm which seems super early to me for a pool that isn't lifeguarded anyway). Off the end of the pier, they also have a sunken motorcycle, golf cart, and car along with some coral nurseries that are fun to snorkel around when the water visibility is good. Just watch out for the sea urchins.Guest review byJohnAfghanistan
- From US$137.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 904 reviewsWe stayed in the Beach Front Suite for three nights during our month-long trip to Thailand. This was our second location of many to come. I am writing this review after our trip, and I highly recommend this as one of the best places we stayed during our journey. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are in Koh Mak. Our room was unique and offered a lot of privacy. We even tanned naked on the terrace on the second floor. The hotel offers yoga classes led by a yoga teacher from Belgium who has been living here for 8 years. It was an incredible experience. During our 3-day stay, I was able to have a private lesson with her and participate in two group activities. We also had a 2-hour workshop where we released a lot of emotions and had a great time.Guest review byPovilasLithuania
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 169 reviewslocated right on the beach, with a little beach bar, serving drinks and food throughout the day to night. the room was exceptionally clean (& cleaned daily). the owners were so friendly and helpful with all our needs & requests. located next to a smaller pier with boats running twice a day to: Kood, Chang & Trat you can also get a smaller boat to Koh Kham for snorkelling. we loved it so much we extended for another 3 nights!Guest review byAmyNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 112 reviewsBeautiful view from the terrace and swimming pool. Resort is located on a hill and very, very quiet. Close to the "center" of restaurants and shops. Islanda staff is absolutely fantastic. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food - papaya salad, the best on the island:))They make You fell like You are in home. It was our second time in this place and we hope we will come back.Guest review byMichałPoland
- From US$92.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 367 reviewsthe whole vibe! as if you entered a heaven of tranquility. It doesn’t do justice that they have low reviews. the staff is so helpful and friendly, pool and bungalows nice. and location, wow! the island is so small you can drive to any location in 10-15 minutes. it was a bliss staying here. also highly recommended the Thai massage!Guest review byStèphanieNetherlands
- From US$55.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 226 reviewsCosy authentic rooms where you can listen to waves as you sleep. Never feels crowded and staff take care to serve you very good Thai food. Don't worry to be further away from the main walking street, it's a very beautiful island to take a short ride and find better beaches for swimming.Guest review byRebeccaThailand

Koh Mak is quite small but beautiful and has a lot of nature. Good kick-boxing school. Variety of good eating places Koh Mak seafood being one of them. It is far more relaxed than Koh Chang with less to do but I actually found the peacefulness and serenity more alluring. The people are friendly and it has a up early sleep when the sunsets kind of vibe but also if you want to be out later you can. There are some very picturesque beaches and bars. Also a variety of takes on food By the sea has great sandwiches etc. If the weather turns bad then this is when the boredom may be an issue. However I loved the thunderstorms and lightening shows. Best I had ever seen.Guest review byMarty TUnited Kingdom - 10.0

After researching on Google satellite I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Much lusher and more tourist-friendly than I expected. Though it's a small island, there's enough there to explore more than we could in 3 nights. And it is the ideal launching site to visit the famous diving and snorkeling sites around Koh Rang island. Five nights would be adequate, unless you're a snorkeling/diving addict, then maybe more.Guest review byFredUnited States - 8.0

Very small island which is still kind of rural and not very touristy. That also means that there are not many amenities or fun things you can do. Accommodations are more basic, food or bar options are limited, and you've seen all of the island in a few hours. But you can also have a perfect chill time without any noisy tourist crowds or big loud party areas. Beaches are great. If you want more action, just take the ferry to Ko Chang (once a day).Guest review byTyeJ_travelGermany
