From the moment we arrived at Moorea, we were blown away by the beauty and attention to detail in every corner of the resort. Stacy, the incredible designer behind it all, has created something truly special—from the stylish furniture to the charming details like doorknobs, everything feels thoughtfully curated and full of character. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave them in the morning—but the amazing breakfast made it worth it! The food throughout our stay was fantastic, and we especially loved sipping on delicious cocktails by the pool, soaking up the relaxing vibes. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the wonderful team behind the resort. The owners and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and by the end of our trip, we felt like we had made new friends. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made all the difference. We loved every bit of our stay and wouldn’t change a thing. If you’re looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and friendly place to stay on Koh Samui, Moorea is it. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

Everything about this property was five star. From the service, to the food. The room itself was super clean and the decor was amazing. We ordered a floating breakfast for the morning which was delicious and we also ate at the restaurant which again, was delicious! The staff were very attentive and polite, which made our stay even better. My only regret is not booking a longer stay! It was worth the price.

A special pleasant observation - fresh fruits and flowers in the room, as well as refreshing towels and drinks upon arrival. Palm Trees and Pristine Seas

One of Thailand’s most famous islands, Koh Samui (or Ko Samui) is a tropical paradise whose palm trees emerge from the pristine white sands at unbelievable angles, and whose offshore reefs make for great diving.

The most developed resort is Chaweng, though most bars and clubs are set back from the beautiful beach, so the views are still wonderful. Slightly less lively is Lamai, though its beach is no less impressive. Both of these resorts are home to a large number of Koh Samui hotels with private pools, a popular requirement of many visitors, despite the wonderfully warm waters.

Lipa Noi in the west faces Thailand’s east coast and has some beautiful sunsets, while the northern fishing village of Bo Phut is gaining in popularity. Nearby Mae Nam and Cheong Mon both have sweeping beaches that gently shelve into the sea, making them popular family choices.

Travellers don't go tot Koh Samui for its sights – but interesting attractions include the Big Buddha at Bangrak’s Wat Phra Yai temple, and the Wat Khunaram Ko Samui temple inland from Hua Thanon.

What a piece of paradise on Koh Samui, we had a fantastic stay at this exceptional and tranquil resort. We stayed there a week with our 10 month old daughter, and couldn't have picked a better place. The location, the facilities, the pool, the breakfast, the beach - everything was great. We do also want to give a special mention to the incredibly friendly staff including Oom, Mam, James, An, Noom, Pang to just mention a few. They were extremely service minded and also took great care of our daughter. Would love to come back to Sala Samui, and this comes from a couple who never goes back to the same place twice!

our stay in this hotel was absolutely perfect. everything is great, starting from the location which is close to the fisherman’s market and many other hotels/restaurants, the hotel is in front of a very nice beach with private area and a pool that looks right to the sea, the food was great starting from the breakfast and the dinners. Rooms are just dreamy and the staff is very collaborative and kind. complementary yoga and Pilates lessons and they are also organized to support with tours and motorcycle rentals.

We got a free upgrade to pool access room which was nice. The pool is lovely and great for doing lengths if you like to swim. The beach is on the doorstep too and it's quiet. Food and cocktails are really nice too. The room is spacious and comfortable with a really nice rainfall showerhead. The staff are really nice and did everything they could to help us with anything, would definitely stay here again

It's the second time I've stayed here, it's amazing. View is amazing, room is amazing. The level of service is like a 5 star hotel. We had some snacks and our microwave was broken and within 15 minutes they brought in a new one to replace ours. And they even offered to go microwave our food for us in their kitchen while we waited, really amazing staff.

I read a lot of reviews about the amazing beaches of Koh...

I read a lot of reviews about the amazing beaches of Koh Samui. I tried many of them and I can tell with confidence that Chaweng was the best by miles. I was based in Chaweng and I though to check the other beaches. I walked all over Lamai, which is very panoramic, but there is a constant stink wherever you go and the beach inside has a lot of corals/rocks that will probably hurt your feet. Crystal Bay was tiny, not comfortable because of the corals and overcrowded. I didnt see Fisherman Village beach while the others on the east side looked dirty. Choose Chaweng

Lamai is for those who like things to be bit slow and quiet.

Lamai is for those who like things to be bit slow and quiet. You will do everything that is possible on the Island in less than 4 days, after that you either enjoy the sun, pool, beach or numerous cocktail places. It's at bay s you wont have to worry yourself about natural disasters such as Tsunami.

The resort was fantastic!

The resort was fantastic! The individual villas were great as it didn't feel like a hotel. These gave a more relaxed atmosphere to the resort. The pool was very pretty. The restaurant was spacious and the service efficient along with the delicious food and wine. Great value, a super location and a really pretty resort!

We used Getyourguide & did a half day tour of the island...

We used Getyourguide & did a half day tour of the island which was really good, our tour guide told us loads, this also helped us tick lots of sightseeing of our list in less than a day. We were staying a short walk away from fisherman's village which was perfect because it was quiet but not too far to get a grab to Chaweng beach that we could swim in. Perfect location if you don’t want to be too close to the party.

There are only two bungalows facing the beach and they are...

There are only two bungalows facing the beach and they are AMAZING!! We did not want to leave our hotel. Some of the other rooms looked nice too but faced the garden walkway. One bungalow faced a concrete wall. You get what you pay for. Loved this place so much.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Very friendly people and going to a night market is a great experience! Traveling across the island is easy but it may get a bit costly if you have to take a van for 6 or 8 people. Beaches on the east side are nice but busy. Beaches on the west are less crowded but may get narrow and untidy due to the tides. Overall we were missing the very long beaches with plenty of palm trees and powder-soft sand. Worth a visit are higher areas of the island in middle, e.g. Dee's Chilling Hill restaurant. Also going to the Ang Thong Marine park is very nice.

Loved our room! It was very spacious,clean & comfortable. The bed and pillows met our expectations. The pool was huge! Great for children or grown ups. A very ambient,quiet resort set on the beach front. The beach chairs are very comfortable and the best place to chill with a book or take in the amazing views. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is very peaceful and we ordered a taxi or grab to go to dinner in the evening. We had drinks at the Hotel pub one evening. Overall a great stay & value for the rates. The breakfast was sufficient …eggs and fresh fruit/toast/pastries. Handy if you have a motor bike to get around the Island as grab is expensive. .
