We had a splendid holiday there! After arriving the hotel, we instantly felt relax and happy, loved the vibe of the hotel, the ocean view, the history, the decor and most importantly the service provided were outstanding and made us feel welcome and warm. We stayed for 3 nights, the room was cozy, although we had our private pool, we did not use much because the ocean-front public pool was stunning, not to mention it was always quite and peaceful. Only receiving max. 8 groups of guests is one of the things I love, there will not be too many people ruin the zen feeling. The food there are also amazing, especially the breakfast. Usa was so nice helping us reserved the ocean-front seats for our first dinner there. It's super romantic, I will recommend having at least one dinner during your stay in PRAWN, if not all night (like us!) I would like to express our true appreciation to the service team there, they always clean our room quickly, quietly and thoroughly; the restaurant staffs are always nice and keen to help; I always got quick response and timely help using LINE; and a special thank to Usa, who is so kind and nice, we have a wonderful anniversary in this place, will definitely come back!

So quaint with superb quality room and amazing staff. It is right in the centre of Hua Hin and while some guest have rated it low because of lack of views, that didn’t bother us in the least because the pool and facilities are right on the beach and it faces the beach. It is so logical that it was just perfect to us. Great spa also.

This is a truly excellent place. A small boutique hotel for people who value a personal approach. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The breakfast must be one of the best I ever had, including various healthy options, while enjoying a magnificent view over the ocean. Great value for money. A very nice hotel with caring and professional staff, we stayed for 4 nights, 2 in a private villa with a pool and another 2 nights in the beach villa. the breakfast is amazing and the location is perfect to have a few nights rest away from any hassle or noise. Much calmer than Pattaya, but also many beer bars, beach very nice, but need to be very careful on rocks! Very dangerous. Go a bit down the beach, then no problems; Food all over Hua Hin not the best, people very friendly

Prachuap is a delightful Thai town.

Prachuap is a delightful Thai town. The esplanade along the coast is super for walking, running, cycling. Ao Manao Bay is fantastic for chilling in a beach chair, zipping on a banana boat, or eating good Thai food. The weekend market has many different types of food and cheap clothes and accessories. There are also a couple of quality non Thai restaurants in the town, back from the coast and some good coffee shops. The temple on the hilltop is worth walking up, except for the monkeys. Ao Noi Bay and cave temple is really good too. Lots to see and do in Prachuap.

You will need transportation—a motor bike or car—to explore the area. We were able to rent a motorbike through Palm Pran Resort. The roads are calm and navigation was easy. It was a fun way to explore the beaches and forest parks.

Nice beach, some activities, Kajak, ATV, restaurant, massage places, some caves. Some hotels are specifically kids friendly. Good beach if you want to relax or for a family. Not really for party people, only if you bring everyone for your party yourself. Also bring Moskito spray!

Ban Krut is a seaside resort which I’m sure is usually very quiet. We visited for new year so it was full of local Thai families setting up to enjoy new year on the beach - lots of food stalls and great atmosphere - fireworks sat at a table on the beach with beers from local vendor was just perfect! We also visited the temple on the hill which was beautiful with gorgeous views We will definitely return - well worth 2.5hr trip from Hua Hi n

The beachwork construction is a major problem at the moment. This may continue until the high season. There are almost no places to eat and the convenience store would not change a 1000 baht note. The beach is dirty compared to others in Prachuap.

I like Hua Hin because it’s a bit more laid back than other...

I like Hua Hin because it’s a bit more laid back than other tourist areas but still has plenty of bars and restaurants to be found. Like most places in Thailand there are restaurants to suit every budget and type. I really liked the food and view at the far end of the beach ( Khao Takiab ) just walk across the sand and up the side of the hill, select a spot in the shade and sea breeze and eat some great food. Hua Hin main beach access is not great, it’s very rocky and they’re sharp! Unless your staying at a major resort most access is blocked, so better to travel farther afield.

Not really sure about Prachuap KK - far too many stray dogs...

Not really sure about Prachuap KK - far too many stray dogs which can feel a bit frightening especially at night! Not many reviewers have mentioned this - our host had walking sticks to deter the dogs and monkeys! The place is very low key and not many places to just sit and have a drink at the end of the day. Found a great vegetarian place to eat - breakfast and lunch only as they close at 2

If you are a fan of sunsets and are not an early riser (to catch the sunrise), you should be on the opposite coast instead of here. If you are, however, an early riser, the beach here is very nice and the sunrise is to be anticipated with each day bringing a new experience. The resort properties here are generally nice but beginning to show the inevitable decline of western facilities in a tropical setting. As such, they are substantially cheaper than the 4 and 5-star resort properties, so if economy is your goal, these properties fit the bill.

Arrive at Lungcha homestay in the afternoon. Make a boat trip at sunset (starting point directly in front of the homestay). The lake with thousands of lotus flowers and birds is phantastic. They offer a 150.- baht dinner in Thai style (a bit oily, but good and plenty). Next morning do another sunrise trip: it is very different, because the light is different, there are more birds, the lotus flowers are open, the atmosphere is just magic. Costs 500,- baht for the boat (takes up to four people). Breakfast at Lungcha included and check out. There is not much to do or see near the homestay, perhaps you can stroll to the Ranger IV station in about 20 min, there is a small stripe of beach and access to the lake.
