Very clean. Daily room cleaning. Powerful hot shower. Right on the beach. We like that it was a short walk to the pier, but far enough to be very quiet. Neem and her team were great. She gave us lots of tips on place to eat and a free ride to the port when we left. Highly recommend staying here!

The rooms are very spacious, beautifully designed, and feel luxurious.
There’s a bathtub with a view outside, and of course, a private pool for a truly relaxing experience.
We asked to move to a villa with more privacy — if privacy is important to you, it’s recommended to request it in advance.
staff was very kind and attentive throughout our stay.
The hotel has an amazing private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as a pool right next to the beach.
The hotel offers a shuttle service several times a day to Walking Street.
You can also order breakfast to your room and have it served on a floating tray in your private pool — a wonderful upgrade to the experience, offered at no extra cost.

They also provide public toilet and prayer room that can be used after check-out. The breakfast is fairly simple but complete. The resort is like a chalet.. they are a few chalets in the premises.. ours is nearer to the pool... sad thing is that when we are there it rain heavily so we cant take much picture. Our family absolutely loved this resort on our favourite island Lipe. This resort is terrific for families. Super clean abd large rooms. Our kids loved the enormous pool, which was nice and warm. The resort is beach front and we enjoyed many sunsets, whilst the kids played in the sand and swam. The 'Walking Street' is just a few minutes away, so the location is perfect. The staff were lovely and helpful and our children loved seeing the towel art that housekeeping left them each day. House keeping were great and very generous with towels. This side of the island has a lovely ambience and is protected from stingers. We suggest walking along to the other side of the beach to Sanom Beach. It's stunning, quiet and has no stingers there. It also a great spot for snorkelling. The hotel staff meet you at then port, take your luggage and walk you to the hotel lobby. We recommend for families.

Breakfast was excellent. Lot of choices. Greatly appreciated the cook (young lady) who was doing fresh cooked omelet of our choices every day.
We also encountered a technical problem with the air conditioner (no cool air was coming out) on our second night. We woke up sweating. When talking about the problem with the front desk, they sent a technician on the spot. He couldn’t fix it. They gladly change us into a new room for a last night. The gesture was really appreciated. We again thank them for their efficiency. We had a bad 2nd night and we were able to rest and had a good night of sleep before our departure. Thanks to all the staff at Chareena.

It’s a perfect place if you want to relax and stay in a quiet place. The island is amazing with not only paradise beach but also a cool waterfall and a view point to hike. They have kayaks and stand up paddle that you can take for free, and a beach front swimming pool. And if you want to go around koh lipe they offer free boat at certain schedule to go and back from there, which is super helpful (incl one coming back at 20:30 which enables you to have dinner there if you would like).
In summary we loved our stay in Koh Adang, we booked for 3 nights but ended up staying 6!

I love Castaway! The hotel is beautiful and extremely atmospheric. Yes, I doesn’t have air con but if you feel hot you can ask for an extra table fan and you’ll be fine. VERY clean, good towels and bed sheets. Everything is great. Helpful staff. The restaurant/common area is super pleasant with an amazing view to the sea. My only complain would be regarding people smoking cigarettes and marijuana in the restaurant — It kinda kills the vibe of the place and it’s annoying to other people. I think they should have a designated area for that.

All the staff were fabulous… always willing and happy to help out with anything we needed. Food was excellent … beach was clean and tidy everyday… rooms were great… such a chilled and quiet place … 10 minute taxi into walking street provided free by hotel at 7.30 in the evening or you could walk down hill to the beach which takes 5 minutes and along Pattaya beach to walking street… snorkelling boat trip was sorted by hotel which was a brilliant day.

The location, the staff and the the pool area was outstanding. Cleaning was excellent, both inside rooms and the hotel area. Breakfast was really good with some variation each day. Will definitely return to this hotel next time we come to Koh Lipe.

Very nice staff and perfect beachfront location with options for snorkeling. Mask and find can be rented for free which is a nice service. Very good food and delicious cocktails. The bungalows are also very nice with a nice balcony and seaview.

Very beautiful island with stunning beaches and breathtaking...
Very beautiful island with stunning beaches and breathtaking views. Lot of local people and not so crowded in october compared to Phuket or other islands. However, it can be a bit dirty and old outside turistic areas. Overall a great way to see the beaches while also understanding the local life. Lots of restaurants and nice places on the walking street. The island is small and can be done by walking from almost any resort

A good place to relax and stop over before you go to Koh Lipe or Koh Adang. I would recommend Papaya Mom 2 Restaurant for delicious HALAL AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD. A visit by walking or jogging near the Mu Ko Phetra National Park during sunset was awesome and great view.

I don't remember the city of Satun...
I don't remember the city of Satun... There is the Province of Satun. However, the city of Pak Bara is worth visiting, especially the waterfront and the nice (slightly crowded) cafes. The nearby "Mu Ko Phetra National Park" deserves special attention with a long jetty enabling a trip to the time of dinosaurs.

I was here in low season so 60% of bars and stuff were either closed or empty. Doesn’t matter there’s lots of nature to discover for the adventurous at heart. Diving, koh Adang, fishing, kayaking, snorkeling and lazy walks followed by legit massage

I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one...
I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one night then the ferry the next day. With transport there is a lot to see in Satun. A quiet little backwater coastal town that has a ferry to Langkawi. If I had time I would do more exploring. I ate at the local shops a donut and a coffee. Main meal at my room as I brought it with me in my car fridge. I did go to a excellent coffee shop before checking into my room. Satun is developing but in not way touristic, No crowds

Koh Lipe is a tropical gem with stunning beaches, turquoise waters and a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for snorkeling, diving, and relaxing. However, there is noticeable plastic pollution, some roads are in very poor condition with deep potholes and puddles, and trash can be seen along certain areas. After about a week, you’ve pretty much seen the whole island, so it’s ideal for a short stay.

Good place to stay with your family on your vacation. Good eating place around the area such as: Papaya Mom, Rim Lay Kitchen & Restaurant, Nava Seafood, Bara Roti and few other restaurants. You can also go to Koh Lipe for the stay and some other water activities.
