This place is lovely. The location is quiet and the facilities are great. I wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts (I didn’t get their name sorry!) were so accommodating and sorted out taxi and transport for us as we arrived, calling the companies too which was very helpful. They recommended places to visit and lent us their motorbike. If I were to come back, I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful resort situated in the prime location along Ko Kradan’s main beach. Snorkelling is just off the shore where there is a big reef that goes along the entire beach where you can see huge puffer fish, parrot fish, sting rays and an assortment of other tropical fish. Off the beach snorkelling is great all over the island. The resort is small but beautifully maintained with comfy sun loungers that are right on the beach. Breakfast is great with fresh eggs, fruit etc as well as Thai breakfast options too. The rooms are clean and comfortable with excellent air conditioning. The mosquito nets on the beds were much appreciated as Ko Kradan does have a few mosquitos especially in the evening. Bathrooms were nice and spacious and are located outside with nice big rain showers with great water pressure and good hot water. What really makes this resort is the wonderful staff. Noon organised my transfers to and from the island which ran like clockwork it was so easy. A special mention goes to Way and Naew who really made my stay special and were super friendly and attentive. The resort is situated in the middle of Ko Kradan’s beach and away from the pier which can get busy with day trip visitors so the resort is always nice and peaceful. The resort is also a 10 minute walk from Sunset Beach on the other side of the island and a 20 minute walk from Ao Niang beach which also has excellent snorkelling.

Amazing friendly people and well-maintained resort with enough sunbeds, free snorkeling equipment and a very beautiful beach just in few steps from the room. The sea near the beach is an emerald color, sandy bottom, the reef is about 80 m from the beach, very lively, lots of colorful fishes, corals. In the low tide, one can walk till the reef. The room was spacious, very clean, perfect AC, fridge, free bottles of water. A small patio outside is cozy, with a hanging chair and place to dry the clothes. No discos, no noise except the sound of waves and a warm breeze.

The staff are fantastic! Very attentive, food in the resort was delicious. The hotel also facilitated a boat trip with a local company where we were picked up and dropped off at the resort. I know Trang from my early days, some 34 years ago when I lived here... There are just a few parts of Thailand that can match the diversity and lush green surroundings - one would be Khao Lak. Trang has many limestone caves, temples and an abundance of waterfalls and islands to explore. I still love this place very much today, after such a long time and keep coming back with my family. If you want to explore Thailand unspoilt and like in the good old days, away from the crowds, Trang is the perfect choice for you!

Koh Libong is a sleepy little island that you can explore in a day. Motorbike is the best way to get around (200 baht) from local village store. it has a relaxed vibe and the locals are lovely and friendly. there are no crowds, no hustle, no bustle… just a laid back island which is like going back in time. Take the bike and visit the Dugong viewpoint, Leekpai bridge and the tower.. head to the main village and enjoy an iced coffee with the locals.. go to the stone bridge and the beach beyond to see the true beauty of the island… with the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair, a motorbike ride around the island is a must…

Fantastic again!!! The best we have done in Thailand. It’s small, can walk everywhere. No proper roads, they are block paved streets. Beaches are wow!!!! Food on the island is excellent. It’s very authentic, a real island with real family, there are 1200 Thais who live on the island so it’s very close knit. I wish we stayed longer.

We visited Koh Kradan for the first time and spent there...

We visited Koh Kradan for the first time and spent there just 2 nights. Wonderful sea full of fish. Small island. You can rent a kayak. We were charged 500bth (2 adults, 1 kid) at the arrival at the pier as entry to the national park. That may make sense, maybe is better to know about it before. Just about only 7 resorts next each other. Wonderful beach with natural shades from trees. It was worth it to stay there 2 nights rather than to come just for a quick trip by longboat.

It's not walkable from pier to resorts or attractions, but motor-taxis are readily available and inexpensive (or you can rent your own motor bike), and the locals are friendly, quiet and respectful. Great 'diamond in the rough' island!!

Trang is a great place to get a taste for a real Thai city, especially before or after a stay out at the islands. After our trip out to the Koh Mook and Koh Libong, a stay in Trang provided a different, but equally interesting experience of city life in Trang. Beautiful landscapes surrounding city and the food scene is crazy and amazing (as with much of Thailand)! We had just one night here and a little under a day, which was a perfect amount of time for us to rent a scooter and explore a couple of cool sites in the area (Khao Chang Hai Cave, Weaving Center), visit the night markets, and experience the famous Trang dim sum breakfast. My husband and I definitely thought Trang City was worth a visit!

The the beaches are beautiful.

The the beaches are beautiful. There is no town, only the resorts (including their beach bars and restaurants), so besides enjoying the sea and relaxing, there is not much else to do (which is not necessarily bad if you are there for that).
