RussiaBrilliant a bit out of the village if Sidi Bou Said gem to spend some days. I stayed in Tunisian room on the ground floor with immediate way to the pool. The room was great in all respect - clean, well groomed & nicely designed, all necessary facilities, a bottle of water daily and on top of that free Netflix access to watch whatever you want.

BelgiumMy wife and I came here just after our wedding, not as a honeymoon but just to have a week of vacation after all the planning, organization, and stuff to do. It was the perfect place. Only 5 rooms, but each one has a particular character, the interiors, and the art they have is just amazing and completely within our tastes. We wanted to buy half the items on display there.
The breakfast was just amazing. everything was fresh, and such a big choice.
The staff was also so accommodating towards all our wishes, wether it was sleeping in a bit or helping with choices for restaurants and musea.
We couldn't have wished for anything better and we will for sure come back when we visit Tunis again.

Absolutely gorgeous! The room was beautiful and large with a view onto the charming courtyard. There is a roof terrace with a pool and a view onto the sea and the stunning blue and white neighbourhood of Sidi Bou Said.
The whole hotel was very clean and also very beautifully decorated.
The staff we so kind and helpful to us. We needed a taxi into the city (it can be hard for a taxi to get into this neighbourhood due to a lot of pedestrian only streets, which of course makes it a wonderful place to walk around!) the owner has a connection to a local taxi that arrived right on time and knows how to get to the hotel.
The location could not have been better. Just 3 minutes walking to the main shopping street full of restaurants and shops. The whole area felt so safe. I went walking at night by myself at 10pm, as a 28 year old woman alone. Well lit streets with a few friendly cats here and there, and the main street loaded with families and other women enjoying evening strolls.

Sidi Bou Saïd is a magical place full of charm and light.
Sidi Bou Saïd is a magical place full of charm and light. 🌿 The white and blue streets perched above the sea offer breathtaking views. Everything is within walking distance — you can easily explore the whole village on foot, and even reach the ancient ruins of Carthage, just 2 km away.
For food lovers, I highly recommend Dar Zarrouk and Le Bon Vieux Temps — two of the best restaurants in Tunisia, both offering delicious dishes and stunning sea views. 💙

The studio is squeaky clean, washroom too with all the amenities provided. Bed is comfortable, strong WIFI, hot water is adequate for shower, room temp is perfect for sleeping, generous breakfast and hospitality of Hakim is very much appreciated. Beyond customer satisfaction. Thank you. We really enjoyed our stay.The location is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a solo traveller. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I will not hesitate to book it again if I happened to be in this country. Hakim and Carol merci beacoup.

The location of Dar Salah Bey is very good and has access to everything nearby, the house is cosy, loved the architecture and design, but the owner of the property is required to improve the facilities and kitchen equipment, like good knives for cooking, a new set of forks, spoons, and cooking tools, also provide a good iron and iron board, fix the leakage of a tap connected to the washing machine, provide new and fresh bed covers and sheets, and also provide clothes drying rack, as we struggled to dry our clothes.

I wouldn't stay there again for FREE. It is that bad place. Very small and not suitable for humans. It is a tiny place and not comfortable. Very basic toilet with un practical shower, it throws water all around the place as the of the very tiny space. The bed is not comfortable at all, not even enough for one person. The mattress is the worst quality. The linen is very low quality. They are going cheap on every single aspect. One towel for 3 nights of stay!! The host was friendly though but this wouldn't count for the uncomfortable stay.

Sidi Bou Said is a traditional village, plenty of market stalls and restaurants to suit all budgets, sea views at various locations throughout the village are excellent. Some steep and uneven surfaces to deal with but well worth it.

One of the bonuses of staying at La Villa Bleue in Sidi Bou Saïd is that this gorgeous and charming village is much more tranquil when the day-trippers or those on a short stopover leave…Then you have some of the great photo spots all to yourself, maybe in the early morning or evening light as well.
