Staff are incredibly nice and kind, breakfast is very good, everything is sparkling clean and bed was extremely comfortbale. Definitely a place to go back to!

United KingdomThe location was easy to find and Nabil, the owner or management gave us perfect communication and instructions. If we had any questions he would reply immediately and was very helpful. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed.
There was a cat and her two young kittens outside the door of the apartment which made the stay even more enjoyable! They seem to be fed by a local and I’ll admit we also obliged.
I would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone!

Absolutely gorgeous! The room was beautiful and large with a view onto the charming courtyard. There is a roof terrace with a pool and a view onto the sea and the stunning blue and white neighbourhood of Sidi Bou Said.
The whole hotel was very clean and also very beautifully decorated.
The staff we so kind and helpful to us. We needed a taxi into the city (it can be hard for a taxi to get into this neighbourhood due to a lot of pedestrian only streets, which of course makes it a wonderful place to walk around!) the owner has a connection to a local taxi that arrived right on time and knows how to get to the hotel.
The location could not have been better. Just 3 minutes walking to the main shopping street full of restaurants and shops. The whole area felt so safe. I went walking at night by myself at 10pm, as a 28 year old woman alone. Well lit streets with a few friendly cats here and there, and the main street loaded with families and other women enjoying evening strolls.

Sidi Bou Saïd is a magical place full of charm and light. 🌿 The white and blue streets perched above the sea offer breathtaking views. Everything is within walking distance — you can easily explore the whole village on foot, and even reach the ancient ruins of Carthage, just 2 km away.
For food lovers, I highly recommend Dar Zarrouk and Le Bon Vieux Temps — two of the best restaurants in Tunisia, both offering delicious dishes and stunning sea views. 💙

The location of Dar Salah Bey is very good and has access to everything nearby, the house is cosy, loved the architecture and design, but the owner of the property is required to improve the facilities and kitchen equipment, like good knives for cooking, a new set of forks, spoons, and cooking tools, also provide a good iron and iron board, fix the leakage of a tap connected to the washing machine, provide new and fresh bed covers and sheets, and also provide clothes drying rack, as we struggled to dry our clothes.

Bed is comfortable, strong WIFI, hot water is adequate for shower, room temp is perfect for sleeping, generous breakfast and hospitality of Hakim is very much appreciated. Beyond customer satisfaction. Thank you. We really enjoyed our stay.The location is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a solo traveller. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I wouldn't stay there again for FREE. It is that bad place. Very small and not suitable for humans. It is a tiny place and not comfortable. Very basic toilet with un practical shower, it throws water all around the place as the of the very tiny space. The bed is not comfortable at all, not even enough for one person. The mattress is the worst quality. The linen is very low quality. They are going cheap on every single aspect. One towel for 3 nights of stay!! The host was friendly though but this wouldn't count for the uncomfortable stay.

One of the bonuses of staying at La Villa Bleue in Sidi Bou Saïd is that this gorgeous and charming village is much more tranquil when the day-trippers or those on a short stopover leave…Then you have some of the great photo spots all to yourself, maybe in the early morning or evening light as well.
