Beautiful small hotel, very intimate. Great hospitality and would love to stay here again. It’s very quiet and peaceful, great place to stay for a few days to just unwind.

I arrived late and the owners probably were in bed but let me in. They were friendly. I was able to stay another day which I needed because of other scheduling issues. The owner emailed me that I'd left my coat. I was too far down the road to come back but I appreciate his diligence.

La Casa is a B&B located in a quiet neighborhood but close to town center, with parking on street in front of house. House has 3 rooms, albeit comfortable with AC/heat (it is chilly at night late September), somewhat hot shower (finicky boiler with alternating brief spurts of hot water) but wet bathroom. Breakfast is minimal with breads and jams, somewhat disappointing, as the homebaked bread is rather dry. Given the abundance of apples in the region and harvest time, fresh applesauce would have been a treat rather than apple puree. Access to large fridge and freezer in hallway to store your drinks. Very quiet during our stay. Wifi in our room is spotty but strong in the communal family/dining room. A few decent restaurants in town, but one needs a car. El Kef probably warrants 1 night stay at most, since most attractions are closed when we were there.

Not much. It was very quiet. The owner offered to make a simple meal for us as everything in town was closed due to Eid holidays. Food was mediocre as was the breakfast the next morning.

Nice and charming, gladI spent a night in Le Kef.

Nice and charming, gladI spent a night in Le Kef. Spend some time with locals, it is not only about seeing ruins and monuments but actually spending time with local people too. I had a tea in a local cafe park and had a meal in a local restaurant

Lots to see in El Kef and the surrounding area, even a Synagogue. The Ottoman fort on the hill above the hotel was great to see and the area around it with Churches, Mosques and tombs were well worth a visit. The Roman site at Bulla Regia was really wonderful with underground houses, great mosaics world class.
