Just a great hotel! Much more than perfect for its price - the facility is very new, everything in the hotel is modern, sparkling clean and works perfect. The breakfast is rich and served on the terrace with a view. Goreme center is walking distance, like 10 mins so it’s in a silent location but still super close to lively neighborhood. Also there is a decent parking in this hotel which is a rare thing in Goreme. Special thanks to all the staff - they’re extremely friendly and nice: Bartu, Yesim, ATA, Donsel and Nur!

The hotel is new and it looks amazing! The room and the bathroom are very spacious. The beds are very comfortable, everything has a very good quality (from the bed linen to the towels). The hotel has spacious parking and it is situated in a very quiet area of the town, but at walking distance from the main restaurants. The view from the windows and terraces is amazing! The breakfast is also very good.

The warm hospitality of the staffs. The hotel provides activities and tours that you can sign up with. We booked a green tour with them and was given a private tour instead as it was low season. We were given free upgrade to the king suite room which was awesome. The daily breakfast provided at the hotel restaurant was also great, comes with hot selection, on the last day of our stay, it was a buffet spread and it was delicious, the good service given by the restaurant staff was also excellent.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly personable and made me feel right at home. The hotel itself had all the amenities I needed for my short stay, making everything convenient and comfortable. Its location is perfect, situated at the foot of the stunning Uchisar Castle and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Each morning, I enjoyed a beautiful Turkish breakfast that was included with my stay, which was both delicious and authentic. The ambience of this hotel is something else which you may not find anywhere else. Absolute value for money and amazing location with in reach of everything you may need. Had an absolute wonderful stay. The hotel is really lovely and our room was nice and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast. The location is excellent, we could see air balloons from the terrace, and it’s close to restaurants and activities. We could walk to the Open Air Museum (1,5 km). Arranged smooth pick up and drop off at the airport. Everyone was friendly and we would definitely stay again.

Stunning, unique landscape.

Stunning, unique landscape. Easy to walk around the town - it’s relatively small with not too much traffic. There are some great walks, although you need transport to get to some of them. If you can’t afford to do the balloon flights, the next best thing is to climb the hill with the Turkish flag on it (you can’t miss it) just before sunrise and watch the balloons from there - it’s worth getting up early for. There is a small charge to climb the hill as it’s on private land.

Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local restaurants, no chains!! A number of small shops selling local produce and the usual souvenir shops. Is you want a lot of hustle and bustle choose somewhere else but if you want somewhere a little more chilled and authentic this is the place.

It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!

Tips of Goreme:

Tips of Goreme: - Schedule the balloon ride at least one hour before sunset. The red and green tour is a must to do also, but pay attention inside the stores they will guide you, it is everything more expansive in those stores. If you are looking some asian food go to Quick China, reasonable prices and good quality, if you looking for some nice steaks, go to Wood Fire Steakhouse.
