My stay at Rustic Caves was simply unforgettable! Located in the heart of Cappadocia, the hotel offers the perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, and the region’s unique beauty. Services: The staff was extremely attentive and welcoming, always ready to help with tips on tours, balloon ride bookings, and transportation. Additionally, the breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of delicious Turkish dishes, fresh fruits, and homemade bread. Activities: The hotel helped us organize a balloon ride, a magical and unmissable experience. We also went on hikes and visited nearby valleys, all with the support of the staff. Conclusion: I highly recommend Rustic Caves to anyone visiting Cappadocia. The combination of warm hospitality, perfect location, and authentic experiences made this trip truly special.

The property has an exceptional breakfast buffet. The view of the hot air balloons in the morning is so nice. you can see them right above your head!! The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. He helped us with the appropriate tours etc. The rooms were clean and the towels were changed every day.

From the time of the check in I noticed the attention of the employees to cover all our needs, starting from the concierge guys then the receptionists especially Mr. Resul and Mr. Burak and after that the housekeepers who puts plenty of towels to be used in the balcony and for the jacuzzi, everything was available and didn’t have to request essentials such as the shower cap, loofa, etc. I noticed that they care about all their guests and treating each family as a precious and important guest, this level of service I used to see it in a 5-star hotels in Europe, the employees in all their divisions including the restaurant in the terrace were welcoming the guests every time they pass by the terrace. The atmosphere was amazing and so relaxing. The hotels was superb and one of the best hotels in Cappadocia. Don’t miss the balloon’s trip, it worth the experience, you can find several tourism offices so close and walking distance from the hotel, check the differences between them before you decide which one to go for. Also, there is a green tour and red tour for sightseeing, be careful in these tours, there is a lunch break included in the price of the tour, not all the companies offer soft drinks , even the water they might charge you, so check with the office or the hotel first then with the tour guide before making your order to be in the safe side.

I feel so grateful and privileged for this one week stay! The historical setting and preservation efforts add lots of character to the place. Staff was amazingly kind and accommodating prior and during my stay. Room was spacious, furnished comfortably and beautifully designed. Food and service during breakfast were fantastic with lots of healthy options and local specialities. On-demand Shuttle service to downtown was very helpful, and so was Duygu from guest relations in facilitating cool adventures in the area. Big thanks to Mehmet from reception who was always there to assist!

A great experience if you want to stay in the natural caves. The room was renovated to accommodate guests. Room is big and spacious. There's a big bathroom with heated floors. There are rooms with balconies that could have full views of the hot air balloons in the morning. But we stayed in a room that's a bit lower. But you can still enjoy the view from the hotel's restaurant during breakfast. Many shops and restaurants near the hotel.

I would easily spend about 3 days in Cappadocia, if not more. It is scenic, warm (in Oct), active, has amazing food, but a little touristy and a little commercial as a result. Just be aware so you're not disappointed. Goreme is crowded and commercial. Urugup and Uchisar may be better choices to stay in, especially if you are driving, plus a bit less touristy and crowded - more authentic Turkish hospitality. Nice little town with loads of places to see but the theme is more or less the same, different shape stones in different places and valleys. The balloon experience, either in or off, is amazing to see.

Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local...

Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local restaurants, no chains!! A number of small shops selling local produce and the usual souvenir shops. Is you want a lot of hustle and bustle choose somewhere else but if you want somewhere a little more chilled and authentic this is the place.

It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!

Book your hotel on the side of town just below the sunset viewing area. Higher up the better. enjoy less than ten minute walk into town. Plenty of choice of restaurants. Get your hotel to book the balloon flight with discount in advance.
